I have a Quaker, or Monk Parakeet. These are small parrots, so I wanted to buy up some small toys that were both well made and not too expensive(after all, some rope and wood to make these toys doesn't cost $10!). This toy definitely fits the bill. Quakers tend to prefer to tear up toys instead of chew on wood, so even though I bought this a couple months back, it's still in good shape. But she still likes to "attack" it! Probably wouldn't last as long with a bird species that loves to chew or a bigger parrot species.

There isn't really a way to hang this toy inside the cage so I kind of stuffed it into the space of a ladder. It stays in place there and gives my green cheek conure a chance to play with this thing using his feet and his beak.

Don’t know why but my conure is afraid of this even after having it for several months

My birds are Indian Ringnecks...'chewers'...and love these toys.

So this is well made and sturdy but I'm only giving one star because it doesn't come with anything to use to hang it in the cage, the residual string is just a nub so I can't even tie anything on to it. Perhaps mine has a malfunction???? I really can't use it and it's just sitting on my counter, it's a shame , as I said it is a well made and sturdy product, my bird would have enjoyed it.....

My Cockatoo isn't fond of it too much. it is still intact after 2 months.

Cheap, not wooden blocks... but made of bamboo and no way to suspend the toy in the bird's cage.
