I was surprised at how light it was and was worried it wouldn't work but it does. Battery had some life so didn't even have to charge. It has some games from my childhood like mario, donkey kong, dig dug, contra, Aladdin, spiderman, etc. But it doesn't have 400 games. Most of the games are just listed several times. But the games it does have are good. Good buy for a first time gamer like my son or for someone like me looking to play the classics. All in all not a bad product for $18.

I can’t believe the number of games available on this thing. The volume gets really loud so I have to remind my kids to turn it down often, but the screen quality and durability seem great. We’ve had them since Christmas and they’re still going strong with a 5- and 8-year-old using them. It’s a fun gift for a little kid and the price is great.

The product says that it includes a battery but when it arrived there was no battery in the package.

THIS WAS AN ABSOLUTE HIT WITH MY 5-YR OLD SON!!!! My husband and I love playing Borderlands together, and our son is always asking to play video games with us, but 1) we have no PS4 games for him at the moment, 2) his hands are still too small to be able to reach all the necessary buttons of the controller, and 3) he has the patience of...well....a 5-yr old lol. With the Covid-19 restrictions and stay at home orders, poor kid had been getting so bored of the same things at home, so I tried finding a Nintendo switch, to no avail. In comes this little gem. Somehow this item popped up while searching and he absolutely loves it!! It fits his hands perfectly, and the games are what we grew up on so he's gaining that retro experience as well. Big win!!

This was a huge hit with my kids. It got us through a long car ride, but unfortunately it stopped working a month or so after we got it.

Maybe it's because I didn't play too many retro games as a kid, but I only recognize a few of the games on this (Mario, Donkey Kong, Mortal Combat, Tetris, a clone of Snake, Paper Boy, a few others). Not to mention, each title has maybe 3-6 duplicates (Super Mario 1, 2, 3, 4, etc...). So, "400 games" isn't exactly the most honest line. Then again, for less than $25, this is probably more of an impulsive 'nostalgia' purchase.
