Beautiful painted illustrations. Lovely book.

Very good rock and pebble guide with plenty of illustrations and back information

A little disappointed as its not photographs, it's pencil drawings. But it was informative

Very nicely presented book with good images and nice written detail. Good size to take away on trips. Provides evenings of fun as we look through the handful of pebbles collected during a day's beachcombing trip. Includes a space on each page to add where and when you found the pebble.

This book was beautifully presented and informative, however, the pictures are sketches of the pebbles and is not a pictorial reference. This is not really clear in the write up. I needed something more concreate for my studies as an adult. However, this would be a great gift for children new to pebble spotting.

This book was given as a gift to our friend for his birthday ( as suggested by his wife). The book had been in a National Trust cottage that they had recently stayed at in Cornwall and he had enjoyed it.The book was gratefully received and he was delighted to have his own copy !

Terrific fun little book

The pictures are drawings rather than photos, so can be difficult to make out details to compare. Other than that, a lovely little book.
