This is a nice little starter kit for Raspberry Pi 4, complete with everything the beginner is likely to need. Sadly no Pi included - obviously - but thankfully Pi 4 prices have now become sensible again. It will be a while before I have been able to test out everything included but so far it seems like a quality and useful selection of components.A detailed PDF tutorial/guide can be downloaded from Adeept’s website, along with C and Python code files (also available on GitHub). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the documentation, I was rather pessimistically expecting it to be a poorly translated Chinese-to-English affair but that is not the case. Obviously it is still only a PDF so somewhat limited but there are plenty of other tutorials/videos available on the internet.This would make a great kit for young STEM students with enough to provide many hours of tinkering.

I feel kinda mean not giving this a higher score because the range and value of components you get in the box for this is excellent. There is a fantastic range, and with the right maunal / guide to go along with it, it would be a fantastic product for the price tag. It falls down on the guide though. It took me an age to find the right one on their website, and when I did it was a mix of poor English, content cobbled together from other sources (you could tell from the vastly different writing styles). If you eventually find the desired zip folder to download the guides, it's a maze of folders when you eventually get in.The components themselves, at least all the ones that I've tried, have all worked as intended when I've used them against other guides, but if you are a beginner using this as a starting block, you would get completely lost and miss valuable concepts and theory in the mish mash of the guide.

Adeept bietet über einen Link eine ZIP-Datei an, die für 40 Projekte dem Programmcode in C und Python enthält. Jeder der Sensoren kann über diese Demo-Software ausprobiert werden. Jeder Sensor und Aktor ist auf einer kleinen Platine, die immer eine 3- bis 5-polige Steckbuchse besitzt, montiert. Über die mit den entsprechenden Experimentierkabeln und den 3- bis 5-poligen Steckern wird über die 40-polige Expansionsschnittstelle die Verbindung zum Raspberry hergestellt. Selbst das Raspberry Pi Pico Expansion-Kit kann dieses Ultimate-Kit nutzen, da die Steckverbindungen sich leicht kombinieren lassen.Der Hammer ist das in der ZIP-Datei vorliegende Tutorial. Es ist ein PDF-Dokument, das sage und schreibe 519 DIN-A4 Seiten umfasst, nennt sich „Adeept New Ultimate Starter Learning Kit for Raspberry Pi“. Es ist ein umfassendes Kompendium zu diesem Starter-Kit und bearbeitet sehr umfänglich jedes der 40 Projekte, die man mit dem Kit durchführen kann. Diese Dokumentation ist sehr vorbildlich Es allerdings nur eine englische Version.Für dieses gut ausgestattete Kit mit der hervorragenden Dokumentation sind 5 Sterne ein muss.

Der Raspberry Pi bietet unzählige Anwendungsmöglichkeiten. Oft muss man aber noch das eine oder andere Teil kaufen. Dieses Starterkit enthält alles, was man mindestens für die 40 Projekte braucht, die man damit realisieren kann. Der Anbieter liefert die Projekte per Download als Zip-Archiv gleich mit. Sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Fortgeschrittene ist etwas dabei. Das Zip-Archiv enthält neben den teilweise benötigten Python-Code-Schnipseln auch ein 500-seitiges Buch mit allen Projekten.Das Buch ist komplett auf Englisch.Den Raspberry Pi muss man natürlich schon haben oder zusätzlich kaufen.Tolle Projekte, die ich teilweise auch noch nicht kannte.
