Great deodorant for natural minded people
If you're new to the natural world and you've never use a natural deodorant you might not know that natural deodorants are not going to stay on your body the same way a antiperspirant is because there is no such thing pretty much in the natural world because it's bad for you. I heard a lot of people complaining about this but pretty much the only way you could get better is if you just got a misting glass bottle and misted yourself regularly with essential oils yes it is probably more convenient in a stick but I do want to bring out the slightly popular belief that essential oils break down plastic so make your own choice on that I chose glass a little more messy but much more security knowing it's glass. I have no idea why anybody would rate this badly unless they were broken when they got them and the company wouldn't replace them. I make deodorants for my family and this is top of the line. I pretty much bought this just so that I could see the consistency and make critiques to my own deodorant. The consistency is perfect it does not dry out towards the bottom if you took a long time to use it I imagine it would but using it at a regular pace of putting it on once to twice a day as you should at least apply at once to twice it has lasted really well. There's no chunks there's no grittiness after the initial application. I have no idea how they get it so white my deodorant always comes out a much darker color. I use Young Living Essential Oils along with others my favorite scent is cedar wood I can formally say this cedar wood essential oil they are using smells exactly like the Young Living brand and it is so comforting and nice. This deodorant seems like its top-of-the-line have not tried a lot of other brands as I've made my own mostly but I can't imagine one much better than this. Just a little tip: if you get one of the mineral salt deodorant to apply before your regular deodorant it helps it last much longer. There is one more thing I want to address the chemical burn claims. I get burns from my deodorant sometimes it took me a long time to realize that it was because I was not properly cleaning and removing all the previous deodorant before adding more on top of it. I'm not sure why it does it but I am 100% certain most of the people who are making these claims are probably not washing it off well and exfoliating before adding new deodorant. Every time you shower you should exfoliate under your arms just as you would any other part of your body if not better. Also Additionally you can use a scrub of lime or lemon and baking soda it works wonderful and it lighten darkened armpits which I currently always suffer from. It is possible that you can also have an allergy to baking soda if you have sensitive skin if so you should definitely consider something more liquid for salt mineral as a deodorant.

Day 1...so far, so good. (with a 1 week update)...
Update: I've been using this deodorant on a daily basis for over a week and it's been fantastic. I've been sweating less, and I've only had one day where my pits were slightly stinky by the end of the day, but only to my nose. I had my husband and kids smell me and they didn't think I smelled awful as I had in the past with other natural deodorants. I am so pleased with this product. I have not had any ill reactions. No itchiness, no red bumps, nothing amiss. I've used the product through hot weather and really heavy workouts and it stood up quite nicely.Original review:My search for effective natural deodorant has been a long and extensive and all too frequently a smelly godawful journey. But alas, I think it may have come to an end.Perhaps my joy is slightly premature considering I've only been using this deodorant for a single day, but it's been a long, trying day.I woke up at 5:30am with the intention of being on time for a 7:30am doctors appointment. With two children and w husband to manage, I was negligibly late by 5 minutes. I had applied this magical deodorant around 6am and found that by 7:30 I was still smelling fresh and odor free.Fast forward through some strange testing and getting to work at 11:45. Still smelling fresh through my commute that involved 80 degree heat and some walking. At this point, my previous deodorant would have abandoned me to the wolves, but alas I was non-stinkified.You see, I'm a physician in a physical profession and a busy office. I was tidying up a treatment room to discover that a patient had (unnecessarily) left her underwear behind. Naturally, the child in me burst into fits of laughter leaving me warm but still, not stinky. How does someone forget to put their underthings back on?!After a full day of work and walking and lifting and hoisting people all day, I still smell pretty decent 15 hours later. I truly hope this trend lasts, cuz dang it, I'm tired of buying useless deodorant.Just buy this stuff. Also, I went with the cedar wood scent. It's pretty much unisex.

This deodorant caused discoid eczema, and I am NOT sensitive to baking soda.
At first, I loved this deodorant. However, after a month of using the directed amount once per day, my body started developing discoid eczema. I have never had discoid eczema before. Small, ovular patches of dry skin started forming first in the armpit area, and quickly spread to other parts of my body. I immediately discontinued use of this product, as this was really the only change I had made in my day-to-day life. I've had this eczema for about 3 months now, and it seems to be slowing down, finally, although it is still not completely gone and has left behind scars. The company states that some people may be "sensitive to baking soda" and excessive use of this product could cause a reaction. I am not overly sensitive to baking soda, as I regularly soak in it and it actually helps to improve my skin overall. So, I have to say I am extremely wary of how some of the other ingredients they use may affect the body because whatever it was that caused the eczema has yet to leave so it seems as though it is fat-soluble and can stay in the body for extended periods of time, even after use of this product is discontinued.
