The First batter I purchased about 6 months ago!, That one worked great for 4-5 months, then when I moved back to using my MacBook at home connected to the charger and monitor constantly, it started acting up. I contacted Customer Support and then they were quick to replace it! Even though the first replacement (which was different manufacture-wise than the previous battery) was not able to recharge, I asked the supplier to send a second replacement, and equally as quick, they sent another replacement. Currently I am using that one and it is on it's 6th cycle. I recharged it when it hit 6% and my mac recalibrated and I've attached the stats from Coconut Battery to this review. For now I am very happy with the customer service and the very prompt response and replacements sent. Edit: Still going strong! my screen's optical cable passed out, and i'm kinda angry at that, but the battery still keeps around a full charge!

the battery arrived and when installe is NOT woking right it does not charge also the middle battery looks bulky... not flat very disappointed with his item that it is not returnableI do not recommen this product DO NOT BUY IT, I LOST MY MONEY< VERY UPSET

Arrived promptly, installed by experienced family member without any problems, (special tools included are essential). I followed the recommendation to drain the battery down to around 10% before fully charging and I have been repeating that as it is supposed to improve battery performance. So far (10 days) I am completely satisfied with the purchase, I am easily getting 8 hours of use per charge although it's generally light use, plus my Macbook looks like new again with the case closing better than it has for months, and the trackpad back to normal. There are no Apple repair facilities where I live, so I would have had to be without my computer for a while if I had had the battery replaced by them, plus I would have incurred considerably more cost. So, if you are confident of your or a friend's competence in Mac repairs, I would recommend this battery.

Overall this batter is in good condition. It came with two screw drivers and one additional tool for installation. I think it makes perfect sense to include the following accessories to make a smooth installation process even if we have to pay a little more money. First, a sucking cup is required to help to take off the back lid of the MacBook Pro 13. Second, a power connector should have been a part of the batter package so that customers do not have re-install that piece from the original battery pack. reconnecting this power connector to the new batter pack is not easy because the conjunction portion is extremely short and you can easily end up with bad connection. Although I appreciate the money we saved to DIY this battery replacement (Apple Store price is $299 and you have to wait for the battery and wait for another week for the installation), we spent over two hours to get this task done. Because we have to re-connect the old power connector to the new battery, it took us two separate trials to get it done properly and this is the most irritating portion of the installation. Removing the old battery was not the most difficult part for us.

This came with everything I needed to fix my MacBook. Minus the adhesive remover but I would expect all that for the great price. Fits like the oem part. Just don't forget you'll have to take the battery board off the original and install it after you got the new one in.

UPDATE 2: Battery is once again dying very quickly. Seems like these batteries are good for about 6-10 months and then they lose their capacity. Not worth the hassle of reinstalling new ones so often. UPDATE: Since battery has a 1 year warranty, I reached out to customer service and they were very helpful and shipped me a replacement immediately. Installed it and so far so good. Hopefully this one lasts longer. I bought and installed this 10 months ago. It seemed to be working well for a while, but in the past month or two the battery has started to swell and make it difficult to click the trackpad. Also, the battery life is heavily reduced and doesn't last more than an hour or so now. It used to last a few hours. I would not recommend.

I've also left a similar review on ASUS ROG laptop. This battery brand works just as good as OEM based on my experience. It's hard to find a good laptop battery that works anywhere near OEM, let alone last more than 6 months, but I would have to say this battery is not showing any obvious traits of bad batteries that I've bought in the past, so I would have to say it works really well so far. I highly recommend it, especially for this price. Installation is not easy because MPB13 is not easy to install the battery in the first place anyway, so it's not their fault, but it's not really easy anyway.

I've been using this replacement for months after installing it in my MacBook Pro 13". I think it's better than the original battery when it was new. The original Apple battery had gotten so bad that the MacBook would not even turn on. The replacement was fairly easy after watching a couple of YouTube tutorials. The tools supplied were good and did the job. This replacement seems to charge faster and last much longer than the original battery. I've gotten more than 8 hours run time, which is much better than the old battery. TLDR: Works great, wish I had bought it sooner.

Less than 1 year and the battery is nearly dead.

After 99 cycles in 5 months the capacity of the battery dropped from 4800ish mAh to 325mAh and the left pack bloated up. The bloated pack started pressing on the back plate and the laptop was unstable on its feet. At first it was all good and the tools to install it were useful. The customer service stepped in and are sending me a new battery. All resolved.

La batterie une fois montée fonctionne parfaitement. Il faut juste un peu s'armer de patience et de courage pour démonter l'ancienne batterie. Ce n'est pas compliqué, c'est juste pénible. APPLE a vraiment fait en sorte de nous compliquer la tâche. Je tiens à dire que je ne suis pas du tout un expert. J'ai déjà changé la batterie sur un 2010, mais c'était beaucoup plus simple. Les outils sont adaptés, on peut tout faire avec. Difficulté 1 : Enlever le capot arrière. Bien soulever les bords avec un plastique fin type médiator MAIS comme le capot est encastré, j'ai fait un peu levier avec le tournevis en passant par le trou de la vis une fois enlevée. Puis insérer le médiator. bien faire le tour. Ne pas avoir peur de forcer un peu. Puis tirer. Cette étape a été pour moi la plus pénible car dans les autos ça avait l'air facile. Après faut juste faire attention de ne rien abimer en débranchant les nappes, mais ça le fait. Toujours un peu peur à ce moment de n pas savoir remettre tout mais ça va. Enfin, la 2ème épreuve de force, enlever l'ancienne batterie, qui pour une raison obscure est collée très très très fort. J'ai pris une spatule en plastique pour avoir un peu de force et j'ai réussi ! Voilà ! Remettre la batterie neuve est un jeu d'enfant après tout ça. Durée totale environ 30 minutes, sachant que j'ai du passer pas loin de 15 minutes sur le capot. Reste à voir comment elle vieilli mais pour le prix, pour le moment je suis satisfait.

Se ajusto perfectamente a mi ordenador, pegamento muy potente, hay que tener claro disposición antes de ponerla, funciona bien.
