Good quality.

Loops in .22 and .30 caliber are easy to find and come in most kits. .38 and .45 are less common, and I got this set only to add those two sizes to my portable kit. They appear to be well made and should do quite nicely. The sizes are stamped into them, in case there is any question on which one to use.

I was teaching my ear doctor who is new to firearm maintenance how to clean his rifle. I noticed he had plastic gun jags. I said throw them away. He said the guy at the big box store gun counter recommended them as they wouldn't scratch the bore of his rifle. I said just wait until one breaks off in your barrel...and it will. Then try to get it out without scratching the barrel. BUT...I told him it is CRITICAL to take some fine sand paper to soften the sharp corners of the jag. Brass is certainly softer than the metal in the bore of the rifle, but those sharp corners are still a concern. On my 6.5 Match Precision Rifle I use this jag with a carbon fiber cleaning rod. Consistent 10 out of 10 at 1K yards on a center mass clanger and a bore scope shows no wear on the rifling.

good product, 2 had threads @ first thread a little hard to start, used my wire stripper 8/32 threader to clean them, perfect now

I replaced the synthetic plastic one that came with my cleaning rod a couple of times before I got these brass slotted tips. Should have done this from the start. These tips are not going to break, and because these are brass, will not scratch or mark the bore/barrel when cleaning. They have a good , strong feel and I'm sure will last a long time. I advise you to buy this item and throw away those plastic slotted tips! Don't wait till they break half way through your cleaning process !! I highly recommend the Tipton Solid Brass Slotted Tips.

Great jags, various sizes fit my shotgun, all my handguns to my .22 cals. The slots fit a 2x2 gun cleaning patch easily and brass so they won’t scratch my barrels. Had to smooth down one of them, had a bit of a sharp part.

These are the best and most comfortable ear plugs I have ever owned. They don't fall out and are easy to put in. I measured my ear using a digital caliper and found I had a concha bowl just over 1.102 inches in size. Knowing this I ordered a large size and they fit perfectly. I have a feeling that any complaints about the fit of this product come from people not taking a proper measurement. That being said if I ever need another pair of plugs because of loss or damage I will absolutely order another pair of these.
