Simply the best
Delicious and well balanced. Unlike others, this is not too sweet and you can actually taste the hazelnuts. It doesn’t contain palm oil, which is very important to me. Maybe a little bit pricey, but totally worth it. I spread some in crepes and the results are out of this world. Highly recommended.

Ridiculously good! And expensive!
In my humble opinion this product is ridiculously good. It’s like day and night if you compare it with Nutela. But! I you’re a sweet-tooth like me this product could become in a hole your wallet due to it’s aaaaa little bit expensive. Compared to Nutella is 5 times expensive and Nutella offer 100 grs more at the same size.

The best quality hazelnut spread, but overpriced
Based on percent hazelnut composition, the rankings of cocoa and sugar in the list of ingredients, and the absence of palm oil or glucose syrup, this is by far the highest quality hazelnut-cocoa spread on the market as of 2022. Respectively, the taste is excellent. Unfortunate, the product is pricey at $22 for a small jar that is slightly larger than a cup. For this money, I could get several bars of high quality chocolate and a ton of cocoa powder to mix with whatever nuts I want.

Great product but almost 3/4th empty container
The 2 stars are for the quality and taste of the spread. But the jar is practically empty. I see others have complained about it too. For $17+, we're getting 1/4th jar of hazelnut chocolate spread.

If you're looking to replace Nutella, this might actually be a step up...
I did a blind taste test with a couple friends to find a Nutella replacement that didn't use palm oil (for ethics/sustainabilty reasons). The four of us came to a nearly perfect consensus. We didn't directly compare against "real" Nutella directly but picked the ones we thought were closest. Gianduia Cream was visibly "darker" and definitely delicious. Although still creamy, the texture was a bit thicker/heavier vs. the fluffiness of our top choice. The flavor was also not as close a match to "real" Nutella -- which might actually be a good thing for you if you're looking for *more* hazelnut taste. The overall ranking of our five sampled products was: 1-Caffarel Hazelnut Creations Cremosa 2-Nocciolata w/ Cocoa and milk 3-Caffarel Gianduia Cream Hazelnut Spread 4-Nocciolata Dairy Free 5-Good Galaxy Hazelnutty

Let me preface this review by saying that I'm very fussy when it comes to hazelnut spreads, having tried many brands from different outlets. Many hazelnut spreads taste too sweet, too artificial or too bland. Due to the lockdown, I wasn't able to visit my favourite deli stores so I took my search online. Decided to take a chance with Caffarel's 40% hazelnut spread - it's priced above supermarket brands, but it contains a higher percentage of hazelnuts. Delivery was prompt, and my 210g glass jar arrived in a bubble wrap. Firstly, my review of the packaging; it is well wrapped and sturdy. I really enjoyed how the jar looks. What you see is what you will receive from the photo on Amazon. The taste of this hazelnut spread, it where it really shines. Not too sweet, the first thing that you will taste is how intense the hazelnuts are. That is a wonderful thing in my opinion, because who buys hazelnut chocolate spread if they did not enjoy the taste of hazelnuts. The chocolate is not centre stage of this product, but rather a beautiful accomplice; it is blended to perfection. The product claims to have 40% hazelnuts and I believe this because the rich, hazelnut is always present. Compare this with a product that does not have this much hazelnuts, and it is just bland chocolate spread that is sickly sweet. The spread is smooth, but not devoid of texture, if that makes sense. There's not gritty bits of nuts in the spread. Not too watery like some. It is a lovely consistency that is neither too thin nor thick. It's clear that the people who made this spread put a lot of thought and experience into it. This alone, is worth the price I paid. Value for money is subjective of course, but I would far prefer 1 jar of this Caffarel brand to 10 jars of subpar hazelnut spreads. Versatile to use as a spread for pancakes, cakes, bread, croissants, crackers (yes, try it!), also if you enjoy just eating it from the jar. 10/10 taste, absolutely super** 10/10 delivery and packaging 8/10 presentation (I'm nit-picking here, the label could look more luxurious) 10/10 quality -its there in every spoonful 10/10 value for money (in my opinion) **if you love the taste of hazelnuts and gianjuja

This is so far from the Ferrero's Nutella that it'll make you question how in the world Gianduia can be a grand-grand mother of this bastard choco creme that you can buy in almost every shop. If you thought that Nutella was 5 out of 5, after you taste Gianduia, you'll add oh-point before that five. Thing's absolutely delightful, you can easily smell & taste the hazelnuts, it's not as creamy (oh well, I guess it's the lack of palm oil and other disgusting ingredients) but creamy enough, should you want to spread that on some bread. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's tottally worth it. Buy it. Taste it. Hate Nutella forever. You can thank me later ;)
