Ordered these when we started replacing all 0f our plastics in our kitchen. The bamboo lids fit well. However if you cover something with a little moisture in it and then place in the fridge the lid will warp, but straighten out again when dried out

When I saw the bowls I was expecting a flimsy floppy strap for the lid. They came and it is hard plastic and once the lid is properly sealed to the bowl will "handle" a full bowl. I just got them 2 days ago and haven't used them yet. But I am so excited to. I have four boys and their families that come over every Sunday so they are much needed and will be used often!!

love the bowls, dislike the flimsy lips they do not close tightly at all. I don't mind as i really purchased them as mixing bowls. Great bowls lids are low quality..

My bowls arrived in excellent condition. The id's seem very sturdy and should remain so with carful use. To put the lids on youneed to make sure they are centered, the locking tabs should push down fairly easily. If the tabs are difficult to push down, the lid is not centered. Also be aware the manufacturer says not to use the lids while cooking and do not clean in the dishwasher. The bowls themselves will handle cooking and the dishwasher. If you don't listen to those directions, we'll back to Saran Wrap. As for chipping etc, they are glass and hard glass so if you are not careful with them, I guess they will get damaged. I am happy with the set.

I received these for Christmas - as I was looking for a set of glass bowls to replace plastic ones I had I would 100% not recommended The first set they sent were broken upon delivery (sound have been my red flag). But I went ahead and ordered another set. It has been three months and I had already chipped one of them when I was stacking them inside each other to put away Then one of the wood lids cracked and is now unsuable They are very fragile glass, the lids are incredibly difficult to get off, and now a broken lid - no thank you. Not worth the money.

I love the glass bowls! The lids are beautiful, but they warp overtime and I've never put them in the dishwasher your period. They do not put a seal on your bowls. The glass, is amazing though.

These endure temperatures over 1000 degrees in the oven...just in case you need to use high heat. I just purchased the rectangle containers too. Not all Borosilicate glass will tolerate this temperature; it depends on how the product is made. Read the label. I love borosilicate glass products. Baking soda works, but you do not need much effort to get them clean because the glass is polished.
