It can be played alone or with a partner, providing hours of fun. It typically takes anywhere from 3 to 15 minutes to finish, depending on the difficulty level you choose. I enjoy playing it, and even though it requires brainpower, I find it relaxing to figure out the challenges. It's definitely a good game to own, with great quality and a reasonable price

I bought this for my granddaughter who thrives on puzzles. She and her sister have been playing and having a great competitive time with it! I started with Uzzle but they figured out all the combinations quickly. This is much more challenging. I do wish it came with 2 individual bags for the pieces but I guess baggies will have to do!

i love the product. entertaining and challenging. however i ordered the Genius Star and was shipped the Genius Square. I notified the seller and have not received a response.

It's a fun and challenging game that a 10 year old can get good at. Can be played alone or with someone else. My grandson liked it and it kept him playing with Grandpa for at least an hour the first day. Good toy

I own & love Genius Square so I had to purchase this game even though I am told that it is harder than Genius Square. I personally thought that the directions were well explained & that the game was easy to learn. I heard that it took about 20 minutes to play this game during a demo on youtube; however, I can play some of the games in under 10 minutes depending on the roll of the dice & how hard that particular game is. While all games are supposedly solvable, I have come across the occasional game that I could not solve. It would be nice if you could go to the web site to get the solution since there are no solutions that come with the game. You can go to the web site to get random numbers that will allow you to have all of the blockers to play with the Gold Star ensuring a solution.I love pattern recognition games like this. The game is very enjoyable & rewarding when the puzzle is solved. The game is well made. Both the blockers & colored pieces needed to play are easy for a senior citizen to handle. The printed numbers on the playing board are large enough to easily be seen.While I cannot speak as to the ease of play for children of certain age groups, I can say that adults would like this game. This game would make a nice gift.

Think Rubix cube. Challenging on your own and always different. It exercise problem solving and special relations parts of my brain. Problem solving I excel at, fitting odd parts together, not so much. There is always a solution! Kids and teenagers seem to be better at this than adults, hence they enjoy beating the pants off their parents

Played against a 7 year old, who was very keen, but needed a bit of assistance. Good game against another adult. Sometimes solutions are identical, but not always - see image.

I am buying two more for Christmas. What a fun intelligent game. Pieces are well-made and durable. My grandchildren of all different ages play with.
