Let me first tell you that I am a skeptic and I was quite reluctant to try to try it out as I have a very sensitive skin and I have to think 100 times before trying out a product.But my experience with Minimalist's sunscreen was fantastic and I was still struggling with a lot of pigmentation so I gave it a shot, scared.Lo and behold, after the first use I could see the difference. Although I gave myself the benefit of doubt and considered it to be Placebo.Almost a week after trying, I can now confidently say it has worked. It has worked really well on my skin.There was a stubborn sun tan mark on my forehead for about an year and pigmentation on my nose for almost 5-7 years. Both the marks have faded about 70-80% after 10 days of regular use.I don't follow a routine, I simply clean my face with a face wash and apply the serum BEFORE sleeping and wash it off in the morning so I leave it there for a good 6-8 hours everyday.If you are wondering whether you should try it or not, purchase the smaller one (10 ml) which is what I did and then if it works, go ahead with the bigger bottle.Try it out yourself, I don't usually write reviews but this was worth my time and money so leaving it here for your reference.If it feels like I was paid to write this review, skip this one and read others because no way in hell I can prove that I was not.All the best, happy skin care! ❤️

Good tonner for acne skin,taking time to work but working fine.

This is best serum ever for dark spots and it also brightening your skin and this is safe for every skin tone . It absorb easily in your skin .I also use it and I see so much difference on my skin it make my skin more bright day by day by uses of this serum so, I recommend you must be buy it and add it on your daily skincare routine 💅✨

I used it sincerely for a year but with no results at all. Neither does it lighten the pigmentation nor does it brighten the skin. I can't comment much on acne scars though.

After applying for 2 weeks the result is pretty much visible. My skin texture feels better now. Loved the formula. I have sensetive, combined acne prone skin so this is worth it .

It did made my skin soft and brighter, it didn't faded the dark spots entirely until now though. It's a good product but it burns my skin a little (maybe bcuz I have extremely sensitive skin) and I can smell the chemical fragrance a bit.It does makes your skin better, so it's definitely wasn't a waste of money.The burning was also not much of an inconvenience bcuz it would go away soon after applying the moisturiser

I used Minimalist Alpha Arbutin 2% from July 2022 to March 2023 to treat sun damage–induced hyperpigmentation, and it really helped even out my skin tone without causing irritation. At the time, my skin barrier was damaged due to maskne and over-exfoliation (I tried shaving my skin when the maskne started—I had zero knowledge on skincare at that time), and this serum was gentle enough to support healing while gradually fading dark spots. The extreme hyperpigmentation around the cracks of my nose—where it once felt like my skin had been fried—has completely disappeared. I paired it with Paula’s Choice Salicylic Acid exfoliating toner occasionally, used a thick moisturiser for my dry skin, and applied sunscreen regularly, which I learned the hard way is non-negotiable—not just for healing but for overall skin health. As a forgetful person, I’m not very consistent with skincare even now, so ignore the visible pores and a few marks—I’m genuinely happy with the results. I hope this review helps someone out there heal their skin too.
