This carpet is very easy to clean. You cannot wash it, you must clean it like you would carpet but it’s black so no stains I let the mud dry on it and then vacuum it up. I loved this rug somuch at my garage door that I bought another for my back door! It has great grip and stands the test of three children under three and a very large dog.

I first bought this rug for a seldom used entryway. I loved the finished look and didn’t see a problem with it. So then I purchased 3 more for the kitchen and 2 french door entry’s that are used more frequently. After only a day, the rugs had done their job and attracted lint, hair, dust etc. and so I tried to shake them outside/beat them unsuccessfully. But I then had to bring out the vacuum and go over them several times. My suggestion is that unless you want daily maintenance, buy a light color. The black will be very hard to maintain if you like your rugs to look clean. I will probably be replacing these with a rug I can just shake out every other day or so.

Love these rugs! Even though they are shipped rolled up, they lay flat as soon as you put them down. They don't slide on my vinyl floors and even my vacuum with strong suction doesn't pull them up.

DRUM MAT!!! I bought this to keep my drumset from sliding on uncarpeted foors during gigs. The size easily fits my 24X16 bass and all three legs of my Roc n Soc throne. NOTHING MOVES. I think the non-slip bottom would be sufficient without putting the throne on it, but I haven't tested that theory.

I really like these mats and have a bunch of them in different sizes. The top side wears well and is great (though rough, not a soft surface). Fibers do catch in the surface easily so you need a revolving brush head on your vacuum to properly clean them. They were great for my dogs whose nails did no damage to the surface when playing hard. However over the years the rubber backing starts to disintegrate and powder off, both losing the traction the the floor below and leaving black rubber powder underneath. The two smaller ones I have that I tried washing in the washing machine lost their backing much quicker so I don't recommend that. The others I clean with a standard carpet shampooer and they lasted 3 years of a lot of wear before having this problem. The photographs are of the BACK of the mats. I still think they are good value for 3 years of use

This was exactly what I needed at the front entry. It looks great, vacuums easily and does a great job of getting 'stuff' off shoes. As others have noted it does show light lint and such but it's good features outweigh this one negative, after all it is an entry mat and is supposed to' collect' stuff. :-)
