Lodge 5-Tier, Kitchen and Pantry Cast Iron Cookware Storage Organizer, Steel Construction, Matte Black

I love my cast iron storage tower!! It is just what I wanted. It is sleek yet sturdy and looks so attractive in my kitchen. It fits nicely in a small space. It holds all my cast iron cookware and also my other set of pots and pans. It came in a sturdy box and was packed safely. All pieces were there and the directions were easy to follow. I was able to put it together by myself. I am a 72 year old woman recovering from a broken wrist which happened on Labor Day. It took me about 2 hours. IF I had looked a little more carefully at the instruction diagram, it might have taken less time. I put one shelf in the wrong place and had to remove it. All in all, I am very pleased with my tower and would recommend it to anyone who wants an attractive and functional place to store their cookware.

I'm giving the product 5 starts BUT the assembly instructions are lacking and you need to be aware there are no extra screws, washers, or nuts so if you loose one, plan on a trip to the hardware store. I'm of "advanced" age and put it together myself. I'm not going to say it was easy. But it's doable. The problem is that the instructions don't tell you that the poles/legs for the top and the bottom are not the same. The boxes aren't marked "bottom" and "top" so there is really no clue except for one drawing that isn't well marked. There is nothing mentioning it in the written instructions. The poles/legs with the wider connection at one end are the bottom ones. That's important if you want to only put it together once. And have a magnet ready when you put it together to locate any bolts or nuts you drop (you will I promise). Lodge cookware may still be made in the US, but this rack is made in Taiwan. It fits together great. But the instructions are lacking. Once together, I LOVE it. Very sturdy and very nice looking...even with the silver replacement nut from the hardware store in the back. ;)

Solves the storage problem I was having. Storing the cast iron at counter top level saves me lifting it out of a cabinet or drawer where I needed to stack it to save space. It fits perfectly on my counter and stores 5 skillets or griddles. Very stable storage system. Doesn’t need to be anchored to counter or wall. Great accessibility instead of stacking and having a lot of lifting to get to the pan I need. I like having my Lodge cast iron on display. Adds a feeling of a true chef’s kitchen to my home. This is truly a game changer for ease of use. I didn’t think it could be this good. Great functionality and worth every penny.

I purchased the Lodge 6-Tier Kitchen and Pantry Cast Iron Cookware Storage Organizing Tower, and it has been an absolute game changer for my kitchen storage. Yes, assembly can be a bit tricky, but the effort is well worth it. Once assembled, the tower is incredibly stable and robust, no issues whatsoever. This tower is a powerhouse in terms of storage. At any given time, it holds at least 30 of my cast iron, stainless steel, and enamel pots and pans with ease. I also bought some S hooks, which allowed me to maximize the space by hanging additional items off the sides. This added functionality makes the storage tower even more versatile. A small tip for fellow cast iron enthusiasts: place a towel between your pots and pans to prevent metal-on-metal contact. This will help maintain your cookware in top condition. One crucial piece of advice for anyone purchasing this unit: make sure to double-check that you have all the correct pieces before starting assembly. It will save you a lot of time and prevent any unnecessary headaches. I love this storage tower so much that I would buy another one if I had the space for it! If you're looking for a solid, reliable solution to organize a large collection of cookware, this is definitely the product for you.

Directions aren’t very clear. I had to take apart and start over. Twice! Wasn’t hard to do alone and didn’t require an additional set of hands. Very sturdy. A little high on price but the shelves are well designed so the price was doable.

I love Lodge, plain and simple. They make products that'll last 2 lifetimes at a fair price. This organizer is no different. I was shocked at how heavy duty it is. I have it on its side, and it holds my heaviest pans without flexing even a little. It's nice enough looking to have on a counter, but I have it in my lower cupboard to clear up counter space (and it frees up cupboard space!) I'm SO glad I spent a couple of extra bucks on a Lodge quality item rather than on a generic organizer that would give out in 5 years or less.

La Creuset, Lodge, and Staub are heavy. It's the way cast iron is meant to be. But it also means that they can be difficult to move from bottom shelving or make your drawers very heavy. This tower is the perfect answer. It is well made, super easy to put together, and makes organizing your cast iron super easy. Plus, I think it looks good. I strongly recommend it.

Great quality! Very stable, easy to mount and very very practical!

This is my 3rd pot rack. The first was the hopeless old dutch that can only fit 2 of my smallest pot despite having 6 levels. The second was a cheap China made 5 tier rack which is surprisingly decent, if it can improve on the design to make it more stable n less wobbly. Certainly I had nightmares of it collapsing together with my Staub cast iron pots. I suppose if you would had lightweight stainless steel pots, then it will not be an issue. Finally coming to this Lodge tower. I have this to say, BUY IT, now! It is far cheaper than Enclumes yet super strong and stable. I am gonna get another one soon. My only gripe is the paintwork can be a little patchy. Perhaps Lodge might consider making one from stainless steel. Yes, it's gonna cost more than this one but I will definitely be lining up for one. Or two!

Don’t be put off, by other reviewers saying you need two people. I am 66 and was able to assemble in just over an hour despite positioning one of the legs incorrectly and had to redo all by myself. I had the bolts nuts and washers in a little container and as suggested kept the shelves in their marked packages until needed, which was indeed very helpful. No missing bits so 24 hours after ordering this sturdy space saving unit, my heavy cast iron pans are now stored beautifully and with easy access!!

Very strong and looks great. Holds many of my cast iron pans and other heavy items. I added hooks to side to hold pot lids.
