Don't let the reviews mislead you. These are great bags. I think those who gave bad reviews got a thinner bag. I purchased the 3.5 Mil and it was heavy duty. We had some old heavy queen mattresses and had to man handle them down the stairs and they were perfect. I highly recommend. You can probably get away with a thinner mil bag if dealing with a smaller twin bed.

That is exactly what I was looking for needed. The size on Amazon says twin or full mattress. This is most definitely made for a full size mattress so if you’re looking for a twin, I would recommend going somewhere else. About this because I was renting out a room to a tenant and when he moved out the new tenant no longer needed the bed. I just had to put this mattress in the bag to keep it protected while it was in my garage.

Plenty wide....so much so, I had to wrap it up and tape it to control the excess. However, the length is barely adequate. It was long enough to overlap by about 2 inches...barely enough to seal it with packing tape and hope I sealed the entire width to keep the bugs out while in storage. It actually was wide enough to probably fit both the mattress and box spring, but then, the length of the bag would not have been enough to seal the bag closed. Wish they had use less plastic for the width and added the excess to the length, so make sealing the bag an easier operation. Thickness as fine and I feel the bag will provide good protection in my barn until I need the mattress again.

These are a must have for moving or mattress storage. The plastic is quite thick and does not slice open easily and it seals pretty well and it does respond well to tape application to close it. The size is ample for the mattress that it is labeled for. There is no bad smell of the plastic

The mattress covers worked great, but they’re very slippery so it made moving the mattresses difficult.

I use this for putting a mattress out for trash pickup. It works great.
