Initially, I faced some challenges pairing this remote control with my computer. However, I suspect the hiccup might be more related to Windows 11 than the remote itself.What truly stands out about this remote is its versatility. The ability to adjust the speed, font size, and navigate seamlessly within your script is invaluable. It offers a level of control that enhances the teleprompting experience.However, there's a slight drawback. It seems the remote might enter a sleep mode after periods of inactivity. This can be a bit disruptive, especially during recording sessions when you need to adjust your script's position.Having tried multiple teleprompter remotes, I can confidently say this one tops the list. This device is very helpful because it allow the reader to scroll at their own pace. In other words, it allows the reader to scroll normally, or by paragraph, by paragraph. Software is ok, you'll have to have a word processor such as MS-Word to import your text, you cannot type straight to the prompter software.

I recommend using this remote control unit with the Elegant Teleprompter Pro app. Works great on my Android Samsung Galaxy Tab A. The only negative is that the written instructions that came in the box give incorrect instructions on how to pair the bluetooth remote unit to another device. I had to watch the manufacturer's video to learn how easy it is to pair this remote control to my tablet. Also, be aware that the device automatically shuts off after about 12 minutes of non-use to save battery power. I think a work-around is to periodically tap the "speed up" and "slow down" keys to defeat the auto shut-off feature. This unit also cost much less than another brand I had purchased but did not like due to poor performance. Overall, this teleprompter remote control is a great value. I am pleased, and have already recommended this unit to friends. Buy it. I think you will like it.

I downloaded the app on my Android tablet, but the remote would not connect to it. It connected to the Bluetooth okay, but it would not operate the app at all. What a shame. I had really high hopes that this would work. You may have better luck with it, but for me, it was a total failure. If you buy it, make sure you keep all the packaging ready for a return. So, I cannot recommend this remote. Purchase at your own risk.

The media could not be loaded. I figured out a way to use the markers using this RemotePAD controller in the TeleprompterPAD app. We shouldn't have to do this, but it works. Watch the video.

I needed to find a teleprompter app that worked with my laptop/tablet and didn't want to buy another tablet because the app wasn't compatible. I downloaded the app from the windows store and it works great on my laptop, but I also wanted a remote to work with it. The remote easily connected to the laptop and works like it's supposed to. The only thing I found is the printed documentation with the remote didn't match the real actions of the buttons... BUT, the app itself has a section to learn about the remote and what each button does, which was great.
