Great for the fish tanks, they love them

I ordered these because they were supposed to be good habitat for shrimp. The wood came quickly and looks very good. I would order from them again. I will share details so you know what to expect if you order 3x6" pack. I received one 6" long stick that was pretty good sized... maybe 2" diameter. The other two sticks were also 6" long but not as wide... maybe 1" diameter. All had the holes in them and are going to be great for my shrimps.

Great quality

I boiled it and rinsed before I added to the tank like others said. As soon as I added it in, my shrimp went to check them out. They haven’t been off of them since. I haven’t seen them go inside of them yet, but even with them in there, it gives added places to hide. The larger one float, so I had to put the rock on top of it. I also had to use a metal straw to poke through two of them to remove the blockages inside. It was very easy. They look great, quality is good, good value, and will work well for my little shrimp.

It's cholla wood, what more do you expect? My neocaridina shrimp like it, which is all that matters to me. Also, it doesn't release any tanins, which may be a plus if you're not into tea colored water.

I only use these in my shrimp tank and the shrimp really love them. I boiled them for a long time to get some of the major tannins out, and to get them to sink. Even though I boiled them only one sank fully to the bottom, one sank halfway to the bottom, and the 3rd floated around for about a week before sinking. I would not recommend these. If you have smaller fish as the holes are small and it's hollow inside. I could see a guppy or tiny fish could get stuck, But for neo shrimp it's perfect.
