I really like this but wish it didn't take so long to dry. So easy to use and clean up, though, and I like the glossy finish on my birdhouses.

Decoupaged this lovely dresser to go in the dogs' room. This was my first try at a project like this so before purchasing I read up on the different types of Mod Podge and decided to go with this for my furniture project. It's much thicker than the regular mod podge, but still goes on smooth and clear. The one 16oz jar wasn't enough to do the whole dresser in more than one light coat. I ended up purchasing a 32 oz jar of the regular stuff to give everything a couple more coats for the same price as this specialty version. It turned out beautiful but going on two weeks later and it still feels a bit tacky on the top and around the drawers. So much so that the top drawer actually got stuck to the top of the dresser. I was able to pry it open with minimal damage but its going to have to be remedied in order to make the drawer functional and I don't know how to get rid of this tacky feel.My first decoupage project turned out great and I would use this mod podge again but on a smaller project for the price.

Very durable hold, excellent quality. It even works for large seashells.

I used this to coat the top of stickers that I put on top of my plastic suitcase. I used 2 coats, letting it dry in between, and it created the perfect seal. I have been out with my suitcase in various weather and have not had any damage to the artwork on the stickers. It completely waterproofed the front! Would definitely use again. This body is large and great for multiple projects.

I built a 9 foot tall tree shelf to use in our nursery. The base and shelving were repurposed furniture that we had saved around the house. We mounted them and built the structural supports for the trunk. Wooden dowels served as the inner support for limbs, and I used wire mesh to construct the shape of the trunk and limbs. It took over a month to add enough layers of papier mache to create realistic bark texture on the surface of the tree. Once I was satisfied and we painted the structure, I looked for a sealant that would create a hard enough shell to prevent the tree from getting trashed once the baby is old enough to mess with it.This sealant was effective and strong. I added extra layers over areas where we will touch it frequently (inside shelves and hiding hole). I would have added more layers, but some areas turned slightly opaque/whitish from the sealant going on too thick.I am thrilled with the result and look forward to building the next project!
