I believe it worked!
We have a pair of 6 month old kittens from the same litter who are closely bonded. They are great friends and love to play together. We had recently had the male neutered. He had recently recovered, and been released from his "cone of shame" when we had his sister spayed. She was wearing a soft cone that we had gotten from the vet, so she wouldn't be able to get at her incision. We were told by the vet that her activity had to be very restricted for the first several days after her surgery, and, of course, her incision had to be protected. Since she and her brother like to play rough, we figured we would need to keep her separated for at least the first day or two post-surgery, and watch them carefully after that to make sure they didn't get too crazy, and no one got after her incision. Naturally, the evening of the day she had her surgery, when I opened the door where we were confining her to check on her and spend some time visiting, her brother and our older cat both got into her room. I figured I would let them visit her, and see how it went. They were being sweet and calm, and, after the requisite sniffing was out of the way, they just kind of hung out in the room with us. (Her brother didn't appear disturbed by the cone, and even groomed her face a bit. He didn't act at all weird around her, or like he didn't know her.) At bedtime, of course, my husband and I had to remove the other cats from our girl's room, since we couldn't really supervise them while we were sleeping, and she still needed to be activity-restricted. We already had a couple of Feliway diffusers, one with the Optimum formula, and one with the Classic formula, since we had had to separate the boy for a bit both before and after his neutering, which made no one happy. Sometime during the night, the girl had gotten her soft cone inverted, so it was kind of down around her shoulders instead of around her head. Her brother completely freaked out when he saw her that morning at breakfast. He hissed and looked big and acted like we had a strange cat in the house. It was really weird. I thought maybe it was because the cone was inverted, so I flipped it up so that it was back around her head, like it had been the evening before. Nope. He was still treating her like she was a stranger and a threat. I had a recovery suit I had purchased for her, so we put that on her and took the cone off, to see if it made any difference. No joy; he was still being weird, and we were concerned he might hurt her, so we had to separate them again. We tried periodically letting them interact again to see if he would get over it. Still no joy. By the evening of the second day, I was very concerned. He was not "getting over it". He actually hid under the bed during playtime and treat time that evening. She seemed to have her feelings hurt that her brother was treating her this way, and her seemed very anxious and stressed. (He is already an anxious kitty - thus the other Feliway diffusers we already had running.) I decided I needed to try the Feliway Multicat formula to see if it might help. Of course, I realized this an hour too late to pick up a vial at my local pet supply store, but I was able to order one on Amazon for delivery the next morning. The package came on time, and, shortly after I got up, I brought it in, and plugged in the Multicat vial. Over the course of the day, our boy seemed to gradually calm down. I wouldn't say he was interacting with his sister normally yet, but he was not acting like he was afraid of her, or treating her like a stranger, any longer. As long as we had to separate them at night or when we were out, he would be weird again for a few minutes when they were together again in the morning, but he would get over it pretty quickly. We're now a week out from her surgery, and, even though she's still in the recovery suit for a few more days, her brother is back to treating her like a member of the family, and not like we brought some kind of alien in the house. Sanity has been restored. I knocked a star off on value for money because the refill vials are expensive, almost as expensive as buying a new diffuser kit. I don't think the refill vials should be that expensive. It doesn't provide much incentive to buy a refill, vs. throwing away the diffuser and just buying a new kit when you need one. Not very economical, nor environmentally friendly, Feliway. I would have knocked off a couple of stars on value for money, but Amazon was offering the vial at a discounted price, and the product did work. These products are expensive, and I hope not to need them indefinitely, but, they did help us and our kitties get through a crisis.

Reassures my cats and I was a skeptic
I don't know if it helps my cats get along better, but it individually gives them reassurance. My cats love to either go up to it and just smell it or rub their faces against it. It works well enough that a skeptic like me will buy it again.

Helps Reduce Tension – Noticeable Improvement
I have multiple cats, and there was definitely some tension between them — lots of staring contests and occasional hissing. After using FELIWAY MultiCat for a few days, I noticed a calmer vibe in the house. They're not best friends yet, but the aggressive energy has definitely toned down. I’m giving it 4 stars because while it didn’t solve every issue, it made a clear difference. If you're dealing with territorial or anxious behavior between cats, this is worth trying. It’s not magic, but it helps.

Game Changer
Feliway came recommended by a gf who is a vet tech. When we started talking about getting an additional cat for our family - we were concerned about how the resident cat would feel about getting a brother. This product was a game changer for our cats. We were introducing a male to a male. Although, we still had to be cautious and integrate them slowly - it made a HUGE difference. Each container lasts approximately 1 month. We've had consist good results with this product. Since our first experience with this product (and continued use), we've since had one cat pass (of cancer) and integrated yet another male cat into our home and this time it was even easier than the first time! We are fans of this product and will definitely continue to use it. (Note: if it has a noise I can't hear it and I'm sensitive to noise. It's clean and doesn't create a mess).

I can never tell if this actually works
I've used this product before over the years. I had a cat that marked and this was supposed to calm him, and it was a waste. He continued marking until the day he died... maybe I just happened to have "one of those cats". When he and sister passed, I went through and cleaned the home big time with professional enzymatic cleaners and orange scent sprays intended to cover any residual marking and to dissuade marking, and I had no issues with my two new cats, but given how hard I worked to clean that place and remove scents of my precious cats, I can't say the product was the difference. I removed all the plug-ins, and neither cat has ever marked. Recently, one of my cats got sick, temp spiked over 104, took her to the vet and she apparently picked up some scents from the vet office. When I got home with her, the cat that did not go to the vet became agitated and aggressive toward her. I ordered refills of this same product, had it overnighted, and proceded to plug in more than enough for my home, to get this "calming" scent in the air. Several hours later, and a full 24+ hours since bringing my sick cat home from the vet, he began to relax. By this time, the plug-ins had been in place for 10 hours. I don't want to knock the product, but at the same time, I don't think it is fair for me to praise its effectiveness when I really don't know, because it took soooooo long to see any changes in his behavior. I mean, I plugged more than 2x as many of these into my walls as the instructions suggest, given the size of my home. Although I didn't expect an instant response, I would have expected to see a decrease in the anger and aggressiveness much sooner than 10 hours. In the end, things at home have returned to normal, but for all I know, the dirty clothing I kept rubbing her down with to cover her in my scent every few hours was the difference maker, or maybe it was just time itself. I have no knowing if this helped at all... as usual. So, I suppose it might work, but in my experience, I have never seen a response to these that prove definitely that is the case. I know that it hasn't worked with one cat, and that it might have had an effect on my other cats that came later, that's all. I'm sorry, I wish I could have given a more definitive review, one way or the other.
