I was very skeptical when reading reviews. I didn't understand how it worked. I have been a sugar ADDICT for about 18 years and let me tell you! These are small but mighty! 1 strip lasts between 45 mins to an hour for me. It tastes like very strong mint, feels almost like paper when dry, but has a thick and kinda sticky texture when dissolving, gut once it's dissolved there's no going back! The 1st time I had 1, I ate chocolate chips to test it. 🤢 horrible idea! It was DISGUSTING! I can't really explain what sweetless chocolate tastes like except maybe almost flavorless wet chalky mud? I ate a cheddar Pringle after and it tasted pretty normal... then I ate a chocolate chip again to make sure 😅🤢 It was possibly the worst taste I've ever tasted... But that means the strips worked! My goal is to use these for maybe 30 days and hopefully be so traumatized from sugar I won't be addicted anymore 😅. These work great though because it gets rid of sugar cemetery. So what's the point of eating sugar if you can't taste it? Your brain will be punished with disgust instead of rewarded withbad sugar lol

Didn’t work for me LOL
These didn’t work for me, idk if I just have a really strong response to sugar or what. I did spit a little after dissolving a strip on my tongue, but I literally ate a cookie and a strawberry hard candy 15 min later and tasted it perfectly fine LOL ... so idk. Might another brand. Also they could have gotten messed up in the mail I guess? Snowstorms / got too cold in transit and that’s why they don’t work ... either way they didn’t stop me from tasting or enjoying sugary stuff lmao

This product stops sugar in its tracks! Door Dash hates it! Dominoes rates it a 0/10!
I was speechless when I tried this. I had chocolate chip cookies and a Coke Zero and could not eat or drink either after trying one strip. I’m not kidding, I had to spit it all out, it was disgusting. And Coke Zero has no sugar, so it seems to also effect aspartame. My husband also could not stomach the cookies or drink his Dr. Pepper zero. If you’re wanting to kick a sugar or aspartame addiction, this is a god send. I’ll be purchasing these regularly for a long time to come. The door dash drivers and Jimmy Johns are gonna be pretty confused since I’ll never want to order from them again. They’ll probably think I up and died from all the sugar and aspartame.Edit: it’s been an hour since I took the strip. I still can’t taste or stomach anything. I’m now a little weary and afraid of even trying my soda or cookies to see if it’s wore off. I love it. On a side note, is this what it’s like when Covid patients lose their sense of taste? I imagine it must be

Whew! Really Gross
Listen, because I did not listen! I told myself to ignore that one little comment that said it was disgusting because I really wanted to curb my sugar cravings. When I tell you this is the nastiest thing I have ever consumed IN MY LIFE that is not an exaggeration. It's completely disgusting and honestly I don't think it's worth $12 to be that nasty. Now I did give it 3 stars because there is no way I could even think of eating or drinking anything sweet after having this disgusting strip of evil. I will say my coworker and I were both tickled and miserable (lol) at how crazy we are for even trying this. *yuck face*

It Works
This does exactly what it is supposed to do... you put it in your mouth, let it dissolve, and then your tongue cannot taste sugar at all. It's kind of trippy. I wanted to test it, so I tried a lollypop, chocolate, and skittles, and they were all gross. The sour/hard candies tasted bitter (like, I could still taste a little of the flavoring, but it was just weird and sour, not sweet). The chocolate was a little more appealing, it was milk chocolate and tasted like bitter dark chocolate, but was still an off-putting experience because I could feel it in my mouth but could barely taste anything, and wanted to spit it out. The effect is instant as soon as the strip dissolves. It's been about 45 minutes since I used it and it is still working, I'd imagine it continues to work for at least an hour. This is a great tool for people who eat too much sugar! The only reason I took off a star is because there is a slight issue... the strips are really small. I don't even have a big mouth, but one strip wasn't large enough to cover the sides and back of my tongue, just the middle. The sugar-blocking only works on places where the strip was directly touching. Because of this, when I was trying out the chocolate, it dissolved, and eventually covered the sides and back of my tongue, where I could very much taste the sugar still. This made it less effective, because my brain still got a little hint of the sugar and it made me want more. To make it work really well I'd have to use 2 at a time, which is dumb and feels wasteful. I still think these are worth it and I will probably buy more, it's just something to keep in mind. Also, the people saying that the strips themselves taste bad are missing the point. It just tastes like mint, sort of like toothpaste, and the texture is vaguely unpleasant and gelatinous. But these strips are not supposed to be pleasurable to eat. They're not mints or candy, they are supposed to help you stop sugar cravings, and they do exactly that. Since they're not spicy or painful or numbing, I don't understand what everyone is moaning about. Definitely give them a try if you want to stop eating sugar.

As described to make sweets tasteless
Pros:Small package easily fits in a pocket/purse.Discreet and unless you advertize it not a soul would notice your taking it.Taste isnt horrible. (To me its like an altoid mint meets big red gum and had a baby)Lasts just long enough to survive the after dinner in town and or grociery shopping after the dinner in town (when i realllllly want that chocolate lol ) and home safe where there isnt anything too unhealthy sweet for me to have before it wears off.It works as in sweet dosent taste sweet. It does nothing to my craving. But maybe once sugar is mostly out of my system those will go to.I will probably order moreCons: turned my tongue black for a few hoursNot crazy about the gelitan like feeling of it but i think that what makes it stay put where its suppose to so i can live with it.
