I was skeptical of how well it would work, but after following the installation instructions and getting our first good rain I can honestly say it works GREAT! About an hour of good steady rain and the barrel is 2/3 full!

This product works very well! I was skeptical that it would do what it says but found my expectations were far exceeded. We were able to get 40+ gallons within about an hour in a light rain. It was easy to install also. Very happy with the results.

This is my second time using this kit from this company. It's nice as it includes everything you need to hook up a rain barrel to your downspouts. I wanted a clean looking installion and the ability to continue to use the downspout once the barrel is full. That's exactly what this system does. I bought the first one about 2 years ago and still looks new, so its great quality No leaks, tight fit, clean looking, and easy to install.

The product came with all the necessary tools to install, which I felt was a bonus. It was easy to install and works great! We installed it 3 weeks ago and so far so good. It comes with an insert for the winter when you remove the plastic hose. The plastic hose is very light and does blow around in the wind, but you have the option to create a whole in the barrel. I would definitely recommend this product.

Installation was a snap, and it rained that evening and filled my 55gal barrel. I went with this because the installation seemed clean (it was), serves as both the fill and overflow pipe, and can be neatly closed up for the winter or if we disconnected the rain barrel. (The water you see in the photos was from me testing the barrel tap.)

We've used the EarthMinded kit for years, originally purchasing the one including the spicket. Our rainbarrel foundation recently failed, causing our rainbarrel to slip off and break the connecting hose in the process. So, we recently ordered the replacement hose and now our rainbarrel is back up and running!
