Dress Form for garment making
I’m happy for now with this dress form. The price was right and I can place pins into the form at an angle (foam is thin). Later, I plan to make adjustments to it. It does adjust, but I found the dials hard to move. It will tip over easily, so I move it with both hands. If you are wanting a form for the first time and don’t plan on using it for self designed work, this is a good beginner form.

Easy to Adjust
Very happy with the form. It adjusts easily. Will need to pad up the bust area for the proper cup size. I love the fact that you can place it off set for pants fitting. I had a cheaper Dritz model, this is much better.

It is my double...
I really love my Dritz My Double Designer dress form. It was easy to put together and adjust to my size. I watched a You Tube video on this and the person said - "now's the time for truth. Don't be vain - put in your REAL measurements." Sounds like a no brainer, but before I heard that I was going to put it what I wanted my size to be since I'm just a little chunky. But I look at the form everyday and am starting to feel better in my own skin. Not the purpose of this form, but it does make sewing for myself fun and easy. I do a lot of alterations to clothes I've bought but don't like the design. Before the form, I was putting in pins, trying it on, taking it off, sewing a bit, putting it on, taking it off, and you get the idea....with this form, I can put it on the form, measure what I need to change. Sew it, and put it on me, ready to wear. I have even made some patterns pieces. This was really a good buy. I highly recommend it to people who make their own clothes, or need to do alterations.

Best dress form I've ever owned!
This is exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was quick. Pop in the wheels, place the form on the pole, screw in the dowel and you're done. It expanded easily enough with a turn of the adjustment wheels. The hem guide is very easy to work with. I don't have anyone to pin my garments while I'm wearing them. This solves that problem. Being able to swap the poles from center to offset for trousers has to be my favorite feature. Adjusting for the waistband and hips go smoothly once you have your true measurements on the form. The only downsides are pinning and a wobble. Pins will not go straight in. You have to angle them. This was expected since this is covered plastic. It is time consuming finding the right angle for the pins to go in though. The wobble might be something I'm doing wrong. I can lock it to stop rotation, but I have yet to figure out how to stop it from rocking side to side as I work with it.*Something important to note.* This is not a professional dress form meant to be adjusted frequently. If you are constantly adjusting the plastic wheels it is going to break. Set it to your desired measurements, pad it up if needed, cover it (I used a Tshirt) and leave it alone! If you are sewing for multiple people of varying sizes or want to use this commercially, I'd say buy something else. If you are sewing for yourself or someone close to your size where you can make adjustments with padding then this might be for you.Bottom line: This is a good dress form for the home sewer. For the price you get a lot of features. It does what it's supposed to do. I would recommend it.

I love my dress form - it is genuinely helpful!
I used to sew quite a bit when I was younger.I'm older now and shopping for clothes that fit - that don't gap/strain, aren't too long or short has become a series of shopping disappointments. Having this form set to "Me" (my measurements) has been genuinely helpful, saves me time, frustration and money. The form helps me quickly see if a new pattern needs to be adjusted in any way even _before_ I cut the fabric! Further, in piecing an item together, I can double check along the way re: darts, the length, collar fit, and even fabric choices (think patterns - checks, plaids or alternate colors for sleeves, bands, ties or insets). If you want to sew, consistently for yourself, this form can help.

Buyer Beware! This is actual garbage, and the return policy is extremely dodgy!
Let me preface this by saying I almost never leave reviews, let alone bother to write negative reviews, but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else!!!As a hobby sewist, I have been wanting a dress form for years, but have been making due without. After a lot of research, I ordered this Dritz Double Designer dress form in the size Small. My measurements (for the record 35” 27.5” “37.5”) fit squarely within the range advertised. I was so excited, I told everyone I know and even posted on socials when it arrived.Upon arrival, it was easy to set up according to the directions. However, the proportions are just bizarre. I have an hourglass figure, and even setting my measurements and checking with tape, a stretch velour dress that fits me perfectly (see photos) would not zip on the form! The ribcage area is way too wide to accommodate a curvy woman. If you have an hourglass figure, I’d be shocked if your clothes fit this.I decided to chance trying the petite sized version in hopes that, while my measurements are on the upper end of the bust/hip measurements advertised, the frame itself would be smaller and fit me TTS. I think it’s disgraceful that the Petite is priced $40 more than the Small also. Why? Given the quality of materials, this dress form is already shockingly overpriced. But sure, go ahead and add a petite tax even though there’s literally no reason for it. Packed up the Small and returned without issue. The Petite arrived today. How does it fit, you ask? Who knows! Again, I followed the assembly directions to a T, and opened each knob a little at a time to keep tension even. It doesn’t matter though, because the screw in the front waist was already stripped out of the box! It won’t adjust evenly, and the knob came out of slit. For $300, you should be able to adjust a dress form every few months, but to come broken really speaks to the quality Dritz is pushing on its customers. No thank you. I’m no longer interested in even seeing if the P will work for my figure. Here’s the kicker! In order to return this garbage they sent me, Amazon/Dritz is now going to hold my money for 30 DAYS AFTER THEY RECEIVE IT BACK! That’s bananas! I’m now out $300 for at least a month, and will have no dress form at all until they deign to issue my refund for a defective product *they* sent me. (I don’t have $600+ dollars to float multiple dress forms when this is a hobby). There’s no excuse for that kind of delay in 2023 when all banking is electronic. I feel scammed, and I will never, ever buy another Dritz product - not a single needle.Pros:-Literally None (Don’t buy this)Cons:-Ribcage is disproportionately big for the measurements they claim to fit. Whoever designed it did no research on scale.-If you want a petite, there’s a significant upcharge for no reason.-Quality and materials are extremely shoddy and there’s at least a 50/50 chance it will arrive broken.-The return policy is bananas, bordering on fraudulent. Holding a customer’s money for 30 days after receiving the BROKEN item THEY SHIPPED is indefensible.-Seriously, don’t risk it. Just something else.
