Works great and easy to put together. Absolutely 0 leaks. I feel like most of the leakiness that other users are talking about is from the lack of Teflon tape in the threads. If you wrap the threads in Teflon it takes the leaking away. I highly recommend for a manual hose reel!

The swivel valve broke when I was assembling, but the person I spoke with at the 800 number was helpful. They are sending me the new swivel valve and said they are working to upgrade it, because apparently it happens sometimes. It's because of the amount of torque you have to apply, but once you get it on it should work fine.

I bought this for a 200ft extension cord, not for air hose. Cord fits fine and much cheaper than what is offered in electrical.

I was tired of manually coiling my air hose and then draping it around the compressor when not using it. My compressor has light usage in my garage so I couldn't justify the $$ to purchase an auto-retract hose reel. So far, this seems to suit my needs. Two things to note: (1) The instructions have been written by a non-native English speaker. They are horrible, but with some common sense and powers of interpretation, you can probably power through to get it mounted & working.; (2) Once in operation, only use the handle to reel IN the hose! DO NOT use the handle to play out the hose to use it. Instead, simply pull on the hose itself to obtain the length needed. If you use the handle to obtain hose to use, the handle becomes loose from its mounting. I've only had it in use for a month so I don't have enough experience to note its durability; however, so far, so good.

The reel is junk. I assembled it and mounted to the wall. I was winding my hose on it for the first time. I need to turn the handle in reverse for two or three turns. When I did the axel came loose and the sides sprung apart. I wanted to return it but I waited too long

This hose reel was easy to install on our interior garage wall. We've had it for about 6 months and it's holding up great. It's currently holding a 50 ft hose and its so much easier to reel that in rather than roll it up by hand. Extremely satisfied with this purchase.
