Worked great for using on my Bambu AMS 2 Pro device. This was cheaper than the Bambu brand version. I ordered the 6A version even though the Bambu model has a lower amperage. I wanted to make sure it doesn't burn up in case the power requirement spiked a bit. I've used it for a month so far. I wish Bambu would allow turning on and off the dryer function from the app like other companies have but I'm still waiting.

This works well for my Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro, I am able to dry Filament while using the External Spool to print with.

2021-08-08 Increased to 5 star Seller was quick to send me replacement adapters. Just finally got around to the install today. 2021-07-02 5:30 PM Increased to 4 star Both power supplies confirmed working fine. Confirmed it is one bad female adapter connector, and possibly another slightly marginal one. 2nd one gets slightly warm. I would not expect a wire/connector to get warm at all. The one adapter seems to have a short in it. Squeezing ( very gently ) the body of the connector causes LED strip to flicker. Tested both PSUs with both strips and both connectors, connector was the issue. LED strips both OK, PSUs both OK. I have reached out to customer service in regards to the problem connector(s). Also some FYI. Power supplies are barely warm with no load, and according to a watt meter shows 0 watt draw with no load attached. So there is only neglagible loss when the devices connected to it are off. Dim blue LED stays lit when connected to wall power. 2021-07-02 4:00 PM 3 - star Will update review as I test more. Connected it on a test bench to a 47 watt light strand. 1/2 the power rating of the PSU. The provided adapter to wire the lights does not make a good connection with the PSU cable end. Additionally, most worrisome, it gets HOT. It was warm after 2 minutes and I disconnected, triple checked polarity/connection fit. Let it all cool down. Reconnected and let it stay connected for 5 minutes. At that point the adapter was too hot to handle comfortably. As for the poor fit, while connected I watch the power draw into the power supply from the wall outlet. It varies greatly, from 22 to 48 watts. If I squeeze the adaptor connector it will make a slightly better connection and go closer to 48 watts. Jiggle it a little and it drops as low as 20, LEDs flicker a bit. Power draw fluctuating. Bypassing that adapter everything seems OK. Note: I have not connected any dimmers/controllers in line, this is just PSU to LED strip for initial testing. I have 2 of everything for this install, I will test with other units / combinations to rule out the problem, but so far it seems to be the little adapter is just no good.

I got this to power my Bambu Labs AMS2 Pro. The Bambu power supply for some reason doesn't come with the AMS system and they charge after shipping close to $40. At half the price, this power supply works just as well. I read one review that said it did not work on theirs, but mine immediately recognized the AC adapter and powered on. Now I can heat and dry my 3D printer filament.

This was a good replacement for my previous one that blew up. Good price and worked well enough. No real complaints

Worked great for AMS2

If you are looking for a power cord for your ams 2 so that you can still using the drying feature while you print from the external spool, this one is what you want. When I plugged it in, i got the little symbol on my p2s screen to show up which indicates the ams 2 pro has a dedicated power source. You cannot dry while you print from the ams, but thats a design limitation. You can pritn from the external spool while your ams 2 pro is drying as long as you have this power adapter. If you dont, the printer will tell you it cant supply enough power to print and also dry the ams. This is a good alternative to paying the for overpriced version on bambu labs official website, plus shipping. Ive been using this for months with no issues at all.

I bought this to self power the AMS 2 Pro on my 3D printer. It fit perfectly and powers the unit without me having to worry about the power coming from the printer. It also allows me to expand and add more AMS 2 units in the future. I did order the 6 amp supply rather than the 4 amp that is called for on this unit. I wanted to make sure it could handle the power without issues and the price wasn’t much different. I would recommend doing the same if you want to power your AMS 2 Pro separately from the printer.

This 24VDC supply is perfect for a number of kits, projects, DIY things etc. I am always making small automation equipment it it nearly universally uses 24VDC. This adapter is a quick and easy way to get a good quality power supply. The voltage output is quite stable (looked at it on my scope). The adapter gets a bit warm if you drive it hard, but nothing to worry about. Recommended!
