We have been living in a van for one year using the Laveo Dry flush Toilet. This is a fantastic product! Using the disposable liner is a must. I'm not sure if it's from traveling over bumpy roads or from the cartridge being used for a few weeks before changing, either way sometimes liquid will leak out. That's where the liner comes into play. The plastic bowl the liner sits in is completely sealed. If by chance the liner gets a small leak, it's extremely simple to remove the bowl to clean. I know this will be a complete YUK factor for some women, but if you only pee, put the toilet paper in a different garbage. If you don't flush the paper, the cartridge will take longer to fill up. I do use the pee powder. If making a number 2, I sprinkle a bit of baking soda on top. We have not had a problem with odor. Trial and error. Overall, I would highly recommend Laveo Dry Flush Toilet.

The dry flush toilet and refills are very easy to use. They are a must have if you travel in a van camper.

Good quality and great price compared to what you can find elsewhere. Actually, don't have anymore at the store.

The new biodegradable cartridge creates a cone shape that hits your bum way before it the red showing it's time to change it. Sometimes you can't even see the red line because of this cone shape. You also get fewer flushes. I live in a tiny house on wheels and this is my only toilet. Very sad.
