My only regret with these knives is that I did not buy them sooner. This knife set is the best I've ever used, they look amazing and are sharp as hell! Had them a few months now and they keep getting better. Highly recommend

Nice and beautiful knives

I bought the used 7" cleaver for $22 instead of new/$33, so this review is for the used cleaver. It looks brand new to me. This is a well made meat cleaver that I use with a rubber hammer to cut frozen meats (bacon slab, what ever). $3 Harbor Freight rubber mallet. The cleaver is very heavy duty but swinging it can be dangerous thus the rubber hammer (better control/safer). Place the cleaver on what you want to cut. Hit the top of the cleaver blade with the hammer. The blade is very heavy duty and is very high quality steel; very sharp! I did not rate 5-star because the rivets holding the wood handle together protrude slightly producing a rough hand surface. No big deal. I definitely recommend buying this knife, especially the used version if available.

This is my favorite knife in the kitchen! Great weight, extremely sharp, looks nice. Hand wash only - dishwasher caused some minimal rusting. Be careful handling and storing it, as it’s easy to cut yourself with just the slightest mishandling. One of my favorite Amazon finds in a long time.

A great looking knife with premium performance. The finish on the blade and handle is excellent. It came nicely sharp and after a quick wash, I put it to use. The wide blade made ease of use as a bench scraper to move the onions from the chopping block to the pot. Cleaving the chicken was a sinch since the weight of the blade was just enough to cleave. The knife is not oversize, like many cleavers are. The overall performance is excellent, and it is impressive in appearance. I prefer the high carbon steel used due to its edge durability. Maintenance is no problem for those that take cooking as an art. Not only a great addition to the essential knife assortment but can be considered as a go-to knife for multi-purpose. Very, very pleased with this product.
