Love these pillowcases I have very fine hair and it definitely makes a huge difference in the morning. I find the price a little difficult as I’m on unlimited budget, but I still plan on buying another in a few months when I review my budget.

Bought these for Father’s Day. My parents are in their 90s. They found them to be very comfortable and cool in the warm weather.

I liked the light blue color and the silky softness of this pillow.The envelope opening is also great to slide your pillow into.

Earlier this year I was dealing with sudden hair loss due to either hormones or a previous illness, and I was panicking every morning when I would wake up with hair stuck to my pillows, so I came up with a game plan. I switched vitamins, hair care, and bought this pillow case! I am also in my mid-30s, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to also own a pillow for the sake of preventing early wrinkles.I will say it definitely has been much gentler on my hair. My hairless did slow down. I also tend to be hot at night, and I love the coolness of this pillow! If I ever feel like I'm starting to get too warm, I flip it over. It feels much cooler for longer than my other pillow cases.The only reason I took away one star was because it seems like after I washed it, it lost some "silkiness" despite my following directions. Also, though I do love the zipper enclosure, it is a tight fit for my pillow, and the zipper does feel like it might eventually break. I haven't had that happen yet, though, after using it every night for over two months (and having washed it weekly).

This is a very nice silk pillowcase. I've been using silk pillowcases for a few years now, and had decided to stop using them due to expense and lack of durability. Then recently found this silk pillowcase on Amazon when I went looking for cotton ones. It's more reasonably priced than what I had been paying for silk at a different retailer. So far, (only a week) I'm impressed and pleased. This one appears to be made of a slightly sturdier weave of silk fabric, and I'm hoping it might hold up for a longer time than my other ones which fell apart in less than a year. I do like the envelope style......different than what I am accustomed to, but very nice. This case is smooth and cool against the skin, nice quality silk. That's one of the main reasons I like silk....it is cool against the skin, and when I'm having a hot flash, and I flip the pillow, and the coolness of the fabric instantly eases the hot flash. I'm not really sure it does anything for skin and hair as claimed, I don't tend to notice.....but it's a nicer feel against the skin than cotton.

My hair has started to dry out lately from years of hair coloring and highlights so I asked my Aveda hairstylist for recommendations on hydrating hair masks. Instead of recommending a hair product, she recommended I buy a pure silk pillowcase. My initial reaction was "Great!... wait, what?" She went on to explain that silk doesn't absorb moisture like other fabrics. I thought her advice was a bit odd but after a week of deep conditioning, my hair was still so brittle. So I decided to buy this pillow case since I figured it couldn't hurt.After several weeks of using this, my hair is actually in much better condition. An added bonus is how my face feels in the morning. Normally I wake up desperately needing my face lotion (I have *extremely* dry skin due to an autoimmune condition) but that is no longer the case. I'm saving a lot of money on my Chantecaille face cream ever since I started using this pillow. And besides softer hair and moisturized skin, this pillow feels so heavenly on my face! One thing to be aware of though... only 1 pillow case is included! I naturally assumed it came with 2 so I had to double-check my order when it arrived.

I use silk pillowcases for my curly hair to prevent pulling and to preserve my curls. Great on not pulling, okay for curls, depending on how active I am while sleeping. This pillowcase has a much smoother hand than some other envelope close types I bought in Canada through Amazon but about the same as some zipper close ones from US Amazon.In fact the only reason I bought this pillowcase is because the zipper one failed at the zipper and I have a second one that is close to failure.Altogether this pillowcase suits my uses as I can throw it in the wash with the sheets. I rack dry (don't know if it's machine dryer suitable but from an abundance of caution I use a rack). It's very lightweight and dries quickly so I can put it back on the same day I wash it, even if it's past noon. Very slippery, has a good feel against my face and hand. I bought the light ivory so I don't know if a darker color bleeds. Excellent for dry, fragile and/or curly hair.

It's nicely made but wow do I get hot using this. It's a bit like using a satin pillowcase which is similar to saran wrap when it comes to breathability.
