Cross Contour Ballpoint Pen - Blue

Great pen, have purchased three of these. The thing we like best is cross pens sometimes are hand to grip not with this type. The only thing we had a hard time with is putting the refill in, the pen just pulls apart like all cross pens which was hard to do the first time making it seem like it didn't pull apart. But writes good and is easy to hold.

Very well made and good looking pen. I wanted something easier to hold and grip, and the size and rubbery inserts help in this regards. It has a nice weight and balance that feels like quality, and the matte blue and contrasting chrome add to that effect. I do wish that instead of the synthetic ribs they had simply made that area bigger in diameter and added a textured pattern to the metal, because of the possibility of the rubbery material degrading over time. When I ordered this I didn't realize that it was a twist barrel style which requires both hands to manipulate, although the action is very smooth. In use I find it to work flawlessly, with the ball simply flowing over the paper, giving it a lovely feel. I ordered a Parker IM Premium pen because I wanted something with a thumb click action, but it just doesn't have the same satisfaction in use, with a slightly courser feel to the ball point; not bad, just not as pleasant. I do recommend this Cross Contour, even with the slight stipulations mentioned.

The blue plastic facade slowly eroded until at the six months point I stripped it all away. Pitiful for a cross.

The build quality of the pen is beautiful except for one small issue! The metal hook where it says cross is made of thin metal. I normally keep my pens inside my right pocket with the hook on the outside of the Jeans pocket. This hook has bent multiple times from just walking. I have had much cheaper pens (sub $15) that have not had this issues. Besides this annoyance, everything else about the pen is great.

I love my new cross pens. I don't like skinny pens and this new cross wraps ever so nicely around my fingers. Nice and heavy. Beautifully made with silver chrome. I liked it so much I ordered one in red that is just as nice. They don't skip when writing. I don't like a fine point pen so I ordered med refills for both. Very attractive pens at an affordable price. You don't see cross pens at bargain stores. So pleased that amazon offers them and pen refills which are also hard to find. I love amazon and amazon prime!

The product (the pen) is fine. The only issue I have is there is confusion between what is in the product description and what I see in the FAQs. The product description says the ink is black but the answer to one of the FAQs says the ink is medium blue (which I expected). It's no problem though; I will have to wait until the additional cartridges (that are medium blue) that I ordered come.

Wanted something a bit more distinctive for "the office" than a disposable pen. Works well and very reasonably priced. Only two drawbacks: I'll have to buy my own refills and I had better be careful where I set it down :)

Love this pen! It fits nicely in my hand and is good for long writing sessions. The grip feels a bit fat, which I like. It looks great too.

An absolute stunner of a pen, a cross. Loved it. Though the shipping could have been a lot quicker. Nevertheless loved it .

This Cross has the quality of a Cross it is amazing pen and the grip is brilliant. I am collecting pens and this pen is very good and value for money. I am using pens all the time 24/7 and i love this one.
