Good product with excellent price
It is difficult to determine the amount of pectin required to thicken James or jelly. You will always have enough pectin by ordering larger size package and the price is much better than competing products.

Have used this for jams and jelly. Works as good or better than individual packets that cost more.

No instructions for use
It's a great price for the amount you get, but there arent any instructions. So be ready to consult google and trial and error if you are new to jamming.

Great For Jelly
Made amazing grape jelly 😍 I make big batches and the container of pectin from my local grocery store was just too small and expensive. This big bag of pectin was affordable and my jelly set wonderfully, with lots of pectin left for future batches. This will definitely be my go-to pectin going forward!

okay i have used this product for almost a full year. it took me for ever it seems to nail down the right amount to use in jelly and jams. i found the perfect amount comparable to sure gel one box is 3 1/2 tb of hoosier farm or about 32g . i found using upward of 49 grams of hoosier left the jelly with a grainy texter but still edible

This is NOT Pectin, it's Dextrose (a form of sugar) - Deceiving advertising - you CANNOT RETURN it!
This is not pure Pectin, this is mostly Dextrose (sugar). The products list of ingredients lists Dextrose as the first ingredient and comprises 78% of the content - dextrose is a form of sugar - while pectin is a distant second in composition. Basically this is a huge bag of sugar with some small amount of pectin. I believe this is deceiving advertising. I normally don't write reviews but this is NOT returnable and buyers should know what they are getting. (ALSO you can look this up but Pectin is NOT made out of Dextrose!). If you use this product your jam will likely be very sweet or my not set depending how much you use.
