Nice flabor

Delicious. Mixed easily into my roux (for those who know what that is) and made an exquisite gravy. Also gave a great boost to pork and bean soup. A total winner.

The flavor does resemble ham, which adds variety to the usual vegan options available. However, I find the product to be salty. The size is nice, and the container is sturdy.

Great product for making Vegan Soups! I was cautious about making my recipes too salty, but after 24hrs my soup mellowed and was great! Wide mouth container makes it easy to scoop out with a tablespoon measure. Initially used making a split pea soup, I then added it to other soup recipes which gave all ‘depth’ of flavor. Versatile addition to your recipes. Sodium content decreases when you’re making a big pot of soup. I used 3 Tablespoons in a pot of 8 servings. No bad ingredients either.

this stuff is awesome! I eat plant based for health, but I really miss meat/poultry I used it to soak soy curls and added pickling spice which made a "corned beef" for St paddys day it was delicious. I purchased some frozen field peas (blackeye peas)while in the south. I came home and simmered them in this broth with onion. OMG it tasted like there was pork in the beans! My next attempt will be collard greens!

Has that hint of smoke with spices that taste like ham. My husband stopped eating pork a few years back. So this is going to allow me to get that ham flavor that I miss back into some of my dishes. Update: A little goes a long ways with this product and it gives a dish a good ham flavor without the ham!

Very surprised and pleased with this. It tastes like I remember ham (vegan for 25 years now). It is not too salty and worked great in a 15 bean soup recipe. I added a vegan sausage after the soup had cooked for a little added flavor and texture, but it really was great without it. Highly recommend especially if you are vegan.
