Needed to strip paint off of an aluminum pole and this worked well. I just used one disc for the job. The paint came off easily, leaving shiny aluminum.

Just OK
I expected these to last much longer than they did. I was using them to strip paint off of some interior stair railing so I could repaint. I ended up going through 12 disks to strip about 20 feet of railing. And I can confirm that the color sticks to metal.
