Case may be solid but the locking system is defective.
Closure is not by an all round zip but by three locks - one on the short side at the top, another at the bottom and the third biggest one in the middle of the long side where the lock is. I have used the case once for my honeymoon, when we travelled through Europe by car for 6-7 weeks, returning just two days ago. It looks great and seems sturdy but it is defective. The main central lock will not stay shut and lock which makes it very difficult to close the case (no, it wasn't overfull), it simply opens again immediately. I had to buy a strap to tie round it. I was glad that we were travelling by car as I would be unwilling to check it into a plane hold as the contents might spill out.Unfortunately I bought it almost two months ago and wasn't able to send it back before as we were in Spain and Italy. However, it is of no use as I will need a case to use when flying abroad. I would not knowingly buy this case again and can not recommend it.I would like to send it back for a refund and then buy another different case but am not confident that this will be possible as return is only possible for a shorter period of time.
