What's the difference between surfactant and this product?

This product, Southern Ag Sticker Spreader, contains two active ingredients, each one with a different purpose. One ingredient, the "sticker" (Modified phthalic glycerol alkyd resin), is a binding agent that prevents or reduces washoff. The other ingredient, the "spreader" (Octylphenoxy polyethoxyethanol) is a non-ionic surfactant which increases wetting, or reduces the tendency of the herbicide solution to bead up on the surface of leaves, and helps increase penetration into the leaves.

Southern Ag Surfactant for Herbicides contains only non-ionic surfactants (C10-C16 alkyl alcohol ethoxylate and polyethylene glycol nonylphenyl ether) which serve the same purpose as the "spreader"/wetting agent / penetrant mentioned above.

These adjuncts are especially useful when trying to control plants, like English Ivy, which have a waxy coating on the surface of the leaves.

will this work with pure potassium bicarbonate fungicide or green cure fungicide?

Before I begin, let me say that I've used this compound a few times and had no noticeable problems.  I see on the container 3 compounds, a resin and two other components one of which is isopropanol (which is 'rubbing alcohol').  My intuition and what is written on the container's label says it's all right to use for various sprayable chemicals including fungicides.  All this being said, there should be a computer-searchable State and or local official label which contains more than enough information.  And finally, almost every county in the US has a "county agent" who should have more agricultural information.

Can I use this with kaolin clay for apple maggot control?

I add this product to herbicides i use when i spray for weeds.
i add a 1 ounce  to every gallon of mix.
product helps for my spray mix to stick to the weeds.
does a good job.
however i add a blue dye to the mix as well as this helps to know where i have sprayed.
thats a separate product.
as for use with your s;pecific kaolin clay for apple maggog control that I dont know.
I would just ask your local farm adviser.
