Well worth it!
I ordered one pack of two bulbs and these are amazing! Instantly brightened the room compared to the old bulbs so I ordered two more packs within minutes of the first arriving! No idea how long they will last but to me they are well worth it. They give the appearance of natural light.

Great product!
Very nice design and very bright for 12W blubs (equivalent 100W). Bulb is 3cm wide and 10cm long but about 3cm of the length is the screw section, so you really only see the 7x3cm glass section once installed (simply screws in).Bought these for an outside light which for some reason (and unlike every other bulb in our house/garage) requires screw-in (E27) bulbs not bayonet (B22) style.Currently on offer (11% off) at £7.99 for 2 which is excellent value as they last for quite a long time. Given this is an outside light that's not used for long, the bulb should last for several years (30,000 hour lifespan).I Love these Corn bulbs, they light up immediately (no warm-up time like old low-energy bulbs) they are much brighter than the older bulbs and they are smaller too. They also don't get anywhere near as hot as the older bulbs do.These bulbs are far superior to any other bulb format currently on the market and whether you want a bright light for a kitchen area or a cooler light for a front room, you will find a Corn bulb to fit your needs.Pack of 2, each bulb individually boxed.

Good light, not bad value, 2 lasted about 18 months
On balance think worth it but I have had 2 fail around 18 months.That is not bad & they are not too expensive but ordinary bulbs last as long if not longer & does the electricity saving make up for the extra cost, probably yes but still would have hoped to have got more time out of these.

Unlike some led bulbs these provide a good spread of light over a wider area and can fit in light fitments easily.
