Big sound in a small size
Great base in a small package! This subwoofer hid under the package deck in my convertible. Completely out of sight, but not out of sound! Packs a wallop! Highly recommend.

It's alright, no install kit
Seller didnt include the advertised free amp kit. So seller is reason for 2 star loss. For the price and compact factor it's awesome. Sounds decent, puts out good mid and a little low bass to make up for what speakers don't produce. Similar sound to a factory installed subwoofer.

Good mid bass filler, do not expect a seat thumper.
The sub is nice and heavy, but there is some loose boominess at certain frequencies, though can't rule out the installation specifics. Not stupid loud, but fills in the lows when tuned in at the right volume level.Speaker grill juts up above the rest of the case and is a bit thicker than what is listed, otherwise a satisfying addition to the sound in the car.

2 weeks old, sounds great!
I have a box truck (just a two seat cabin) with two 5" 2 way door speakers that needed some bass. I originally bought a SoundTech 10" that blew out in 2 weeks. Then i bought the 8" CV, hooked it up behind my seat and the clean bass it puts out was perfect for what I needed. It's not pounding bass, seems like it doesn't have a lot of output power, so if you're looking to shake the mirrors... don't bother. It's good for a small system and gives a clean sound with a little adjustment. It's definitely not sloppy or muddy... pretty clean. It's 2 weeks old and I'm happy so far.
