Seems like a good level for the $
this level package works well. seems to be good quality for the $. Nothing about it is automatic however I used it to set levels on a pole building. did the job for me.

AWESOME TOOL !!!
I USED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS WEEKEND, DOUBLE CHECKED FOR ACCURACY WITH SECOND READING.. RIGHT ON THE BUTTON, GLAD I BOUGHT IT. SUPER EASY SET UP I COULD HAVE RENTED ONE FOR A WEEK AT THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THIS ITEM.

It works but I doubt it will last...
Tripod is incredibly cheap...lots of plastic parts and poorly designed. Head seems really nice...hefty and well built...my only complaint is that the bubble is very hard to see. Clear bubble in a clear liquid on a white background...seriously? My old craftsman had an all metal tripod, I had no trouble seeing the bubble (in a yellow/green liquid...duh), and it lasted 20+ years. Somehow I don't see this one lasting nearly that long...

Amazing tool
First time using a transit and it's a amazing tool. Set it up and eyeballed the tripods level to start. Leveling the transit was super easy, no problems, just look at the bubble and turn the knobs. Focus is great everything I positioned it on couldn't have been clearer. I received a 14' grade rod, the add said 8' so was pretty happy about that. I'm putting in 600' of pipe fencing and this made life so much easier, being able to get perfect 90s with it when plumbed on corner pin helps a lot especially since I had one corner pin left and the neighbors wall 300 foot away for my points. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It's a great tool at a great price.
