Q: I see a lot of missing screw issues, how do you know which ones to by at the hardware store?

I have bought 3 of these. Kind of hard to put together but was never missing anything. I would check around first. David

Hi Angelica, You will need to check the VESA pattern on the back of your television. This Rolling TV Stand accepts VESA hole patterns from 200mm x 200mm to 600mm x 400mm.

Q: To raise or lower is a push of a button or require tools or another person to hold steady?

You may need two people--one to hold the TV, and the other to press the spring loaded buttons in on both columns to raise or lower the upper part of the stand.
