Men Of Mystery: Nikola Tesla and Otis T. Carr: Weird Inventions Of The Strangest Men Who Ever Lived! Paperback – May 30, 2012

I have been a fan of Tesla ever since I saw a demonstration of a "Tesla Coil" high voltage transformer as a child. Very impressive.Tesla is responsible for many important inventions and discoveries our three phase high voltage electrical power grid being one of the more obvious ones. This book describes some of his more obscure ideas including remote controlled boats and radio. Yes it is pretty clear that Tesla demonstrated radio before Marconi. I recommend this book in spite of a slight touch of conspiracy theory that is included in its pages. His AC vs DC war with Edison is particularly interesting.

I read everything on Tesla. I love this genuine humanitarian who was a genus and someone who is totally never mentioned. He, not Marconi came up with wireless communications and if it were not for Nikola Tesla we would not be communicating in this mode presently.

I am Impressed with the amount of Research and details that has gone into this book,far above the average.Well Done. I can vouch for the Truths expressed here,as I was an active part of the Otis T Carr Saga. Ralph W Ring

I love this book! I have read many Nikola Tesla books, this is my favourite! I especially like the cover!

This book is fascinating! It takes you on a journey of mystery and makes you wonder just how these men were able to do what they did.

I thought this book was going to be full of "facts"-not out of this world speculations. I know Teslas was a progressive thinker but some claims in this book are completely outlandish. I had to skip parts of the book to be able to continue reading it. I got the book primarily for the information on Otis Carr. I haven't got there yet but if the material about him is handled like Teslas information, I will be extremely disappointed.

great to read something not from a dips***'s perspective and not censored like most 'history' books on the market these days :)

Great Book

Without a doubt a trip to the crazy side of life, book claims Tesla was from Venus and adopted, apart from that everything else seems to fit the facts , why was Otis Carr shut down and jailed .Black ops flying saucers and triangles have been developed in secret for sure, it starts to make sense but there is so much more we simply don't know ! I enjoyed it .

I chose to rate this because the Author materialised this must known part of erased history into the convenience of a book. Thank you for helping to raise the awareness! Cheers
