Other Quality Humidors 25-Cigar Humidor Cherrywood Finish

I purchased this humidor as a gift for my husband. Unfortunately, by the time he received the gift the 30 day return period had passed. When he used the salt method hydrate the hygrometer, he found that it registered 15 degrees off. There was no way to use the tiny adjustment screw to calibrate the hygrometer because the slot in the tiny screw was too shallow for any screwdriver (including the tiny ones we use on glasses), so it could not be adjusted. We had to purchase a third party hygrometer, which was not only a hassle, but an additional cost. We can't recommend this humidor set, since the included hygrometer did not work. If you purchase one, I recommend you charge the hygrometer immediately, and contact the seller for a refund if it does not work correctly right out of the box.

I'm new to cigars, started enjoying them while I'm delpoyed, so I picked up this humidor simply for the price. I was suprised at how quickly it arrived and the excellent quality of the item. I was disappointed however in the company, not Amazon. The instructions for seasoning it state that you have to use distilled water or their brand of humidor refiller, however they don't supply you with any. Luckly my unit has several cigar smokers that hooked me up. Still it took me almost two weeks to get the humidity up enough to put cigars in it. Once I did get it up though it's a dream. It holds upwards of 45 cigars, and I can leave it sitting in the office because it looks so nice on the outside. I recommend this product to people who have dealt with humidors before. If you're new to the cigar world, I would suggest looking for a starter pack.

I'm a huge cigar fan, with a large humidor full of top shelf cigars. Every once and a while Ill give my father a Cohiba, or Romeo y Julieta, until recently hes actually been asking for them!I decided for his last birthday it was time to get him his own "collection" I searched the local smoke shops for a decent humidor, and came up short each time. I found this one on Amazon and decided to give it a shot!I was very impressed with the build quality and components for a humidor in this price range. I got the humidor all ready, installed the hygrometer and and loaded it up with 20 or so Montecristos, Cohibas, and RyJ. I brought it to my dad and he absolutely loves it. He keeps it on display in the front foyer and enjoys the upkeep, and the cigars.I would highly recommend this humidor if your an everyday smoker, or just enjoy a nice hand rolled cigar on those special occasions!

A good entry level humidor to start out with, if you don't have a large quantity of cigars. The humidifier that comes with it isn't that good, but it doesn't cost much to replace. I bought this humidor as a gift for a friend that was starting to collect some cigars, and added the VAC700 Silver humidifier along with it. Worked out well. The cherry wood finish looks very good. If you expect to have more than 25 cigars to store in the future, you may want to get a larger, more upscale unit.

I've been a cigar smoker for years but never bought more than I would smoke in a weekend or on the golf course that day because they would dry out before I had a chnace to enjoy them. I had been thinking of buying a humidor for quite some time but the ones in my local cigar store are all very expensive. So I did an Amazon search. This humidor had very good reviews and I agree. It's very nice looking, nice enough that I display it. The lid fits tightly, the divider fits snuggly and is convenient for separating your cigars. I bought a tube-type humidifier so the hygrometer that comes with the humidor is not necessary, even though it appears to be working just fine. I invested in 25 cigars and this humidor has kept them fresh. It's a great buy.

I had to change my review. My initial review was harsh to say the least. I purchased this humidor along with the Caliber III hygrometer and could never get the humidity level above 55 to 60 percent. Come to find out it was the hygrometers that were faulty. I figured this out after purchasing new humidors and having the same issue. I purchased the Boveda calibrating kit which told me the hygrometers were wrong...way wrong and not adjustable. I purchased some Hygroset II adjustable hygrometers (which were dead-on accurate when placed in the calibration kit the first time) and everything has been great. The humidors were working correctly the entire time but the caliber III hygrometers were lying to me.So I can highly recommend this humidor along with the Hygroset II adjustable hygrometer, Xikar humidifier and solution, and the Boveda calibrating kit. I've had a near perfect 70% humidity since correcting the hygrometers.

Great beginner humidor for me...simple and uncomplicated ... make sure you wipe down the inside with a dampened cloth that's soaked in the xikar solution to prepare it for the storage of your cigars.... the velcro on the back of the sponge and hygrometer aren't the best but you get what you pay for here.... simple yet pleasant to look at ....

I'm very satisfied with this humidor. I seasoned it for 14 days with the Boveda method, finished a week ago, and currently it maintains a perfect 70% humidity with the humidifier provided (using glycol solution). Also, the hygrometer provided is accurate, although it takes a while for it to adjust to new humidity levels (I did the salt calibration test and it worked perfectly).
