It fits
Had a hard time finding a cap that fit an 8" size. This works comfortably.

Good Fit and Value
The product is as expected. I have a large head, and require a size L hardhat. A lot of hardhat manufacturers and companies, only offer a "one size fits all," hardhat. When I wear a size medium or "non-large" hardhat, it just pretty much sits on top of my melon. And the price and MSA's reputation make it a great value.

Finally a hard hat for a big head
My work supplies hard hats, usually MSA, but we only get medium. Didn’t even know large was an option until I gave this one a try. Room for a sweat band and no more headache from having my skull compressed! A win/win!

One item came missing the suspension
Other items in our order were as expected. However, one of the hard hats didn't have the suspension included. This has happened on a prior order as well - so it seems to be re-occurring warehouse/shipping issue.

What I expected from MSA
MSA sets the standard in comfort with the adjustable Fas-Trac III ratcheting crown strap. My hat size is 7 5/8" and the large is a perfect fit. It sits down on my head like a ball cap even while wearing a sock cap. The front of the Fas-Trac III ratcheting crown strap is padded with a nice padded sweat band. Would recommend.

Fits great even for large head
I had no trouble inserting the helmet suspension, following the instructions on the bag. I wear a large hat size, and this hardhat fits perfectly. Already bumped my head into an overhead rafter and was glad to be wearing it. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Not for professional use.
I have used MSA for more than 2 decades. This product was such a let down. It’s extremely though to adjust the head support and overall fit and finish is below MSA standards.
