Wonderful quality to a classic game that came with a tremendous amount of extra marbles in case we lose some! My daughter came across this game at her end of the year party and made it out if Styrofoam cups to play against us at home so I knew I wanted to get it for her for her birthday so when I saw how affordable this was but had a clasp to keep all the marbles inside I knew had to get it.The fun colors of marbles make the game that much more fun to play! The spaces are large enough to hold plenty of marbles when the game gets tough and we've had lots of laughs already!

This board is amazing! It folds, which is great for storing the beads. The beads are large and so are all of the compartments that hold the beads. Aside from being a high quality game board, the game itself is really fun and easy to learn. It is a great value for the money and easy to bring along wherever you go. Would be a great gift!

As you can see by the title of this review, I am very impressed with this Mancala game set. This was not the most expensive Mancala board available, and I looked at several options before settling on this one, it looked like it had the smoothest board, with deep enough holes, and it does. First off, this comes packaged really nicely. The company did a good job with the box and instructions and materials inside. The latch is very nice, and works well. The holes all fit roughly 13 of the provided stones before spilling over. The glass stones are nice, but I opted to replace them with slightly smaller polished agate stones available for sale on this site as well, and I am glad I did that, because it adds a nice tough to this board. I would definitely buy this again, but I feel like this is going to last a long time, so I don't know that I will have to. I might buy another one, just to have an extra on hand, and I will definitely give them as gifts. Well done, thank you for the quality product!

This set is perfect for a family game night. The wood is sanded well and smooth. The cups are a good size and mostly hold enough pieces. (There is an occasional overflowing cup in mid-gameplay!) The gems are a little on the small side but not enough to really matter. The latch lines up perfectly and serves its purpose. Overall this is a good buy!

I read about the roughness of the wood, but still decided to buy because of size. Yes, it is nice looking. Solid construction, although hinge screws are not exactly flush as some were screwed in at an angle. This doesn’t prevent the wood from opening and lying nice and flat. The engraved label and corner design is a very nice touch and gives it an elevated feel, allowing for the game to be displayed if desired. Four stones were broken as they are glass. They are pretty large as well, so small hands will have trouble grasping all of them during play. I will be replacing them with quartz stones for future play. Now, the wells have been carved out nicely and are deep enough. But, the wood finish is the con here. Very rough and almost splinter risky. I remedied this by sanding the wells edges with 320 grit sandpaper. This only took a few minutes and the result is wonderful. Rub some wood oil over it after sanding. Let sit for 24 hours and it’s perfect. Worth the money even with a little self TLC.

The marble/stones are pretty and smooth. The wood is also smooth. Very easy to fold the board in half and store, also makes it easy to take on the go. Came with instructions and a few extra stones just in case you misplace a few. Had a lot of fun playing over Xmas while on vacation.
