This is the second time purchasing the Sunco 6 Pack BR30 LED Bulbs!My first set was purchased over a year ago for my kitchen (lots of use/cycles) and all six are still working strong! I have other flood lights in my house that are incandescent and these will replace those!There are several things I really like about these bulbs:1) The color temp and brightness is very close to that of the older, existing, incandescent lights. Overall, these provide very pleasant lighting in both my kitchen and downstairs areas as they are very close to the color/brightness of incandescent.2) A year after having these in my kitchen, all six are still going strong with no flickering, intermittent operation or failures! This is the way LEDs should be!!!I have been very happy with the overall value (cost vs performance) and would recommend to others!

Bought these after a lot of searching for the perfect color temperature and settling on 4000k for white, but not blueish and harsh like 5000k. These were the cheapest br30 bulbs in 4000k on amazon even compared with 650lm variants, so got 2 boxes of 6pks along with the very popular Hyperion 690lm version. Just got them today and tested them to compare both along with existing lifx set to 4000k, and here are my impressions.PROs:They are very bright (could be a negative for some if not on dimmer)Instant on, no perceivable delay (so were the Hyperikons)Runs cooler than Hyperikons (but warmer than lifx)Dims without any issues or humming on my existing Lutron dimmer (same like the others)CONs:In my little time with it, the only negative thing I noticed is the washed out colors, especially next to LIFX at same color temperature and even the Hyperikon BR30 LED Bulb, 9W (65W equivalent), 4000K (Daylight White), Dimmable, Wide Flood Light Bulb, 120° Beam Angle, Medium Base (E26), UL Listed - (Pack of 4). Not sure I would have noticed if I didn't have it next to them, but since I did, I can't get past it now. the published CRI of this bulb is 80, the Hyperikons is 84 and lifx is 89. I guess that's the difference in play here.I didn't think this would make a significant difference but it does, at least for me. Not sure how to explain it but our walls which have a slight warm tone of a dark beige/light brown look noticeably dull/grayish with this light. And it's the same issue throughout the dimming range.I will be returning one box and use the other where I won't be spending much time. If not for its price advantage, I would have rated these even lower.Update after a month of use (11/30/2016):I have decided to keep both boxes as they were the cheapest and I chose to live with the relatively low CRI and since we were using them in our basement with gray walls, it didn't bother us much. I have since returned half of the Hyperikons due to the buzzing issues with 3 different dimmers we have tried. Surprisingly, these Sunco bulbs fared much better with 2 of the 3 dimmers, and only have slight buzzing when dimmed (the others were buzzing even at full brightness). Also these dimmed lower than 2 other bulbs I have tried.I think I will be purchasing more of these for filling the remaining outlets. Sadly there has been over 10% increase in price since.

These lights dramatically brightened our kitchen which previously had soft white lighting (yellow undertones). We have oak colored cabinetry, and they look less orange under these lights which I appreciate as well. All six bulbs arrived intact and so far, we've had them in for about two weeks, we have not had any issues with them. I can check back in a few months to comment on their lifespan. They are quiet bulbs and easily screw in our standard sized recessed lighting fixtures in the ceiling.Note: I would equate these to DAYLIGHT bulbs. No more struggling to see .

Nice bright bulbs to brighten my master bath. No issues with flickering yet, but I’ve only had these a few weeks.
