will this CNC router aluminum?

Yes, you can machine aluminum and it also comes with an adapter to allow you to use a Dewalt P611 router which might help with doing aluminum I suspect. The stock spindle is 300 W. It may not provide the same amount of chipping power that a 1 1/4 hp router could so it might be worth the upgrade to the Dewalt.

What is the work area size

The working dimensions are a lie. I set up to carve on a 12" x 12" vinyl record. I have the record at the front edge of the spoil board. The Y -axis hit's the limit switches and won't even come close to touching the upper portion of the record. These people need to advertise the ACTUAL working dimensions based on where the tip of a bit is allowed to work. I have had nothing but issues with this machine and the company selling it. Mine arrived used and damaged. They are sending replacement parts, because the box was destroyed. I had to purchase the 600x600 extension kit just so I can carve on a 12"x12" piece.

Is this pre-assembled? Like how long it will take to be ready to have my first cut ?

Takes about an hour to assemble. Take time to square up good as it pays off with good alignment...

will this cut .060” lexan?

Yes, I’ve cut 0.25” Lexan with it. Nice results.
