Ramesh Menon yet again brings us a wonderfully done translation. Mr. Menon in my opinion ranges with the best in bringing Hindu works to the english reading world. Not only that you can tell that these works are a labor of love. The Devi purana was no let down. A treasure trove of stories of the Goddess are told. I love the battles of the gods and the asuras. Of times before mankind and even the earth herself. Ramesh Menon has brought alot of much needed joy to this humble readers life. Mr. Menon the Upanishads are calling!

I was referred this book by my Gurudev and this book did not disappoint at all. Ramesh Menon is a phenomenal story teller and he beautifully narrates the various stories from the Devi Bhagwatham. May Mother's Divine grace be with all!
