Review: A Very Good Epic. - MULAN, DVD live action film. I haven't watched the Disney animated film, as of no interest, so this was surprisingly interesting and well made. Entertaining with good quality action choreography and filmography. Excellent lead, and supporting cast. A shame so underrated. Highly recommended. Bought at a discounted price. A Very Good Epic.
MULAN, DVD live action film. I haven't watched the Disney animated film, as of no interest, so this was surprisingly interesting and well made. Love this movie and was awesome on my UHD television and gave my speakers joy.
Excellent quality sound and imagine work, interesting extra features. Love this movie and excellent value when I purchased it. Arrived next day. A big thanks.

A good remake of a classic
This was an interesting film to watch, as a fan of the original animated version it was good to see that this was not just a straight remake of the original (unlike the lion king). This added new plot points, new directions and kept me interested throughout.

Better than the animated version
I had prevously watched the live action Mulan on release so decided to buy Disney's Mulan (2020) Blu-ray when I seen it on offer from Amazon. Contrary to most reviews/opinions, I actually prefer this live action version of Mulan compared to the original Mulan. However, for pretty much every other Disney animated movie that has had a live action "remake" the animated version wins hands down, IMHO. :D Compared to other Disney animated movies of the time like Toy Story, Lion King, Aladdin etc, for whatever reason I just never go into Mulan. However, I found the live action "remake" very enjoyable, with some great performances and action scenes/special effects and will watch many times in the future. As in most cases, the picture quality on my LG OLED via my PS3 and audio via my 5.1 amp and speakers was great. Not had chance to check any of the extras on the blu-ray disc yet.
