Great jacket. Well made, keeps warm without over heating. Great against wind. NOT wet weather of course. The hood is a little stiff but it being HEATED as well makes it worth it!! I think they are true to size. Charge last as long as described depending on setting. Very comfortable wear ability. Great working on the farm and sitting at cold ball practices

Very nice jacket for winter! Keeps you warm and the battery life is great.

It keeps me nice and toasty in the cold brutal northeast winter. It has cold, med, hot setting on it. Takes a little while to charge, but holds a charge basically all day. Heats up the whole body, and it is rainproof and heavy enough.

12/15/20 Update - the heating element on my jacket stopped working roughly 1 month after purchasing. I have 2 batteries that are fully charged yet it won't even turn on. Waiting to hear from Venustas about this issue.I received this item last week. I work for the USPS where I walk outside roughly 15 miles per day in the elements in Northern Indiana. I'll start by saying that the coat looks great. Everything about it looks like it should cost $150 and the materials feel very high quality as well as it being very modern and stylish. If this were a jacket that had "North Face" stamped on it I could easily see people buying it at this price without the heating element. The Jacket is made of water resistant material. I've found through using it in the rain that if it is a light rain everything will roll off the jacket. But if it is raining heavily rain will penetrate the jacket and you will need to wear a rain coat over it you are outside for a prolonged periods of time. The button on the jacket you use to turn it on also looks just damn cool when it's on especially at night. It's an LED circle that lights up either blue, white or red depending on the heat setting you choose.If you are buying this jacket and plan on only using the heating element 3-4 hours or less on the lowest heat setting before recharging it then this is a great heated jacket for you. Even on the lowest setting you really can feel the warmth it creates. From testing it with two Venustas batteries I got about 3-4 hours of heat on the lowest setting, 2.5-3 hours on the medium setting and 1.5-2 hours on the highest heat setting. So if you are buying this jacket because the description says the heating element will last 9-11 hours on low and you want to have it turned on all day then be aware it lasts less than half that length and you will need to buy at least another battery to get 7+ hours from the heating feature even on the lowest setting.As I said, when the battery/heater was working it felt great. I wore just a shirt and the jacket so I didn't feel all heavy and bundled up, but still felt warm. It really allows you to move very quickly outside when it's working since you don't have to have all those layers on. So if you're buying this with the intention of only using it an hour or two then it's probably 5/5, but I bought it based on the claims that the battery would last all day on the low setting. I would have given this a 3.5/5, but the Venustas support team was 10/10 on communicating with me and responding to my issues so overall I'd give the jacket a 4/5. This will be a great heated jacket that is made of great materials and very stylish to many. But if you expect to buy this jacket with the single battery and have it heat you all day then this ain't it.

Hubby's anniversary gift, fits well (xl) and he's sure it will keep him warm this winter. With him on the road and running into all kinds of weather it's great for him to have with at all times. He has the best too loves both, the functionality is good as well as the quality.If you have someone that's cold more often than not, I would recommend purchasing.

Warm and nice fitting

Nice investment. Works fantastically. Looks nice on my 25-year-old. He only uses that jacket now.Comfortable and measuring is accurate.

First I will say this is a good jacket even without the heat. It is well insulated and warm.But I bought for the heating features which have been a mixed bag. Out of the box on arrival the jacket didn’t heat well even with a fully charged battery. On high, I could barely feel the heat. A friend had a jacket by the same manufacturer and suggested that their coat worked better with an auxiliary battery pack purchased separately. The problem with this jacket though is it only had a 9v plug and no adapter to allow it to plug into a usb port. So I also had to buy an adapter to connect the 9v input to the auxiliary battery usb-c output.The heating in the jacket works great now but it required me to purchase another $40 in accessories between the additional battery and the adapter. I went from barely any heat at all to sweating out in it.The jacket is great but the included battery was underpowered. For the cost of the jacket, you shouldn’t have to buy additional adapters and batteries to make it work properly.If the battery had been right or if the jacket had the option to charge from 9v or USB without the purchase of an adapter, I would have rated this item higher.
