King C. Gillette Neck Razor, Handle plus 2 Blade Refills

I got one of these because my brother kept confusing my shaver for his when I forgot and left it in the bathroom. Years ago I had a proglide premium handle that I managed to get really cheap on sale and I loved it! This one feels just like that, except instead of being a slippery chrome unit it's made out of plastic. Oh, and more importantly, this doesn't have the pivot ball for the blade cartridge to pivot around sideways. SO if you want to use these with proglide or fusion blades you totally can, but you won't get the advantage of the proglide's sideways pivot. Honestly, I think I like the longer more distinct handle more than having a sideways pivoting head. The shaving pattern is more predictable and feels more effective. I bought this one really cheap, too. And yea it does come with 2 blades that look just like skinguard blades.

It feels significantly lighter than the regular Fusion handles with what seems like the middle part holding all the weight. But somehow it does not feel unbalanced at all. In the middle part you have a concave part on one side and a rubbery part on the other for superior and comfortable grip. For those looking for a lighter handle or simply to give your razor a different look, for the price, this is one purchase that’s well worth the value. If there was one thing I could change, it’s that I wish they made it in solid black. But the dark deep purple works to give it a more elevated look.

I normally shave with a safety razor, but purchased this as my travel razor. Very easy on the face and feels like it will be a reliable razor for the long hall. My safety razor is also a King C. Gillette, and I must say I am becoming a fan of their products.

I bought this to try it because I got the king c gillette razor and it is awesome razor and wanted to try it. I bought gillettes version of the skin guard when it came out and it did a little better than the other razors from gillette but it did not give me a close shave and there old one kind of irritated my skin a bit. But this one did better it was smoother and comfortable but still not a close shave but T least it is not 5 blades which to me good because I get close shave which there king c gillette safety razor that has one blade. But this razor is good but creates those one bad habits like putting more pressure and such but it did good I can take this on trips but gillette should improve on this there Mach 3 razor gives me a close shave in two passes while this one needs multiple attempts but to me it is important that it was a smooth comfortable shave most of gillette razors like there fusion is not comfortable it tugs to much to this is a good razor in my opinion just need better improvements.

My neck is sensitive. Ever since it would got irritated 20 years ago from shaving with a blade, I've used an electric shaver and have gotten an inferior shave. I decided to try this out and have loved the results. A close shave and my skin is not affected.

Bought the "King C. Gillette Neck Razor, Handle plus 2 Blade Refills" listed on this detail page. It's simply the Gillette SkinGuard with enhanced marketing and a different handle that is no better and no worse than the cheap SkinGuard you can buy at the store... the handle is visually nicer but basically exactly the same grip and balance. In this case it's being marketed as a neck razor 🤔. Don't get me wrong... when I need to fly with a carry-on and can't bring my Fat Boy, I use a Gillette SkinGuard - it's the best of cartridge razors for my skin, but I didn't see any reviews stating that's all this is before I bought it... could have saved over $11.

I will say at the outset. I have tried electric razors Remington, Phillips and other generic razors. I have tried various razors many of which are also on Amazon. But these blades give me the best shave without cutting myself or causing razor burn. The thing facial hair does not grow uniformly and there is a grain to your face. Some Razors can shave well with the grain but alternate against the grain. And you get nicks or a rash. Not with this razor. Regardless of how you mange the handle I get a smooth shave every time. I cannot say that about any other razor on the market. This blade works well if you haven’t shaved in 3 or 4 days. You can shave with it daily and it works just fine. The only thing I wish was that these blades didn’t cost so much.

Solid, classy looking, feels great to shave with plus uses my fav blades

I’d you’re fine with two or three pass of you have hard three or four days old. This is okay razor.
