This paint pen is a dream!
The brush nib is flexible enough to give me a thick line, yet comes to a beautiful (and sturdy) point making it easy to get into tight corners. The pen caps snap into place tightly. My paint pens have held up very well. The box they came in snaps shut and is held in place securely with a magnet. Great for storing these pens flat (recommended). Colors are an approximate color of the caps. I found them to be quite a lot darker than the caps. You should swatch them before you use them. The paint application is smooth and covers well until you get close to the end. You can layer colors, cover them completely, or add a design to get a bit more contrast. The white pen (perhaps it is supposed to be a blending pen. That is how I used it. I could lift areas of color to some extent. Clean the brush on a paper towel to clean off the lifted color. If you layer another color on top, you will also need to clean the brush between colors. The second color blends with the first on the nib to create a third color until it is cleaned off. (Great for shading or small accents. I use a piece of paper to wipe my "contaminated" brushes on. I absolutely love the way the paint goes on. Sooo smooth. The colors are beautiful and so easy to apply. They have great coverage and work well together. I am planning to buy the large set soon. I want more colors, and I'm hoping there will be more colors that will create better contrast. The lack of more contrasting colors, in my opinion, was the only con for this product. These will become a staple in my mark-making tools. I totally recommend these to anyone who is wanting to try them. I knew halfway through the first stroke these were the paint pens I would be using. They are fun and very easy to use.

Nice markers
Very nice set of markers for the price. Vibrant colors. I used them on parchment like paper for Christmas cards and I was able to get an almost water color effect in some areas which was surprisingly nice. So I would say they are versatile as well.

Rocking These Brush Pens
These brush pens are a great tool for rock painting, which is one of my artistic hobbies. I had absolutely no problem getting good coverage on the rocks as the pigments are strong enough to cover whatever surface they are applied to without looking thin, requiring a second coat later. You get the versatility of a paintbrush with the control you’d get from a paint pen. The brush tip allows you the flexibility of creating fine, medium or bold strokes with just one tool, without the hassle of having to change back and forth to either a fine, medium or thick edge paint pen to get the same end results. That means you only need 1/3 of the amount of supplies to paint with, saving you time, storage space and most importantly saving you money. The set consists of 16 colors - 8 opaque matte colors and 8 metallic sheen colors. This is the perfect basic set as every basic color one might need is represented. Since the paint in these pens is water based, blending can be achieved by using a plain slightly wet paintbrush to merge colors while they are still slightly wet. This is better than blending with your paint pens, so that you don’t ruin the pure color on the tips of your brush pens. I seal/finish my rocks with a spray clear urethane and the paints do not distort or run as long as they are completely dry first. I found these pens to be a perfect addition to my art supplies and would happily recommend them to other rock painters.

Mixed results on plastic
The colors are bright in the standard colors as are the metallics... Those means they're usually fine on top of lighter colors but they're pretty poor on dark colors. They don't stick to plastics that well and coverage is weak for the non metallics. The metallics, especially darker are pretty great for both coverage and depth of color even on white surfaces. The brush tips are quite easy to use... I just wish they were just a tad smaller... Another 20% smaller would be perfect for detail. They're a bit weak on the adhesion... But nothing a top coat wouldn't fix.

A Brush Pen for Artists and for Rock Painting
The new brush paint pens by Artistro are vibrant and have a good variety of regular and metallic colors. You don't need to shake, shake, shake to get them to work. The pens are great on regular and thick paper and did not bleed through the paper. It also worked great on rocks! The pens allowed me to cover the surface pretty quickly. The ink is opaque and dries quickly, and I was able to do some hand lettering on the rock afterward. The only little thing was the pen cap color. The caps didn't quite match the color I thought it would be. You will need to reference the swatch on the box for the pen color. I also think it would be helpful if they had "metallic" on the pen to distinguish between the regular and metallic pens. The metallic red looks like a dark mauve and the metallic black looks like a dark charcoal gray to me. Other than that, I have only used the pens for a few days and so far really like them. I'll have to see how they do after continuous use for ink flow, vibrancy, and the pen cone shape. I think this would be a great gift or to add to your paint pen supplies. Until then, happy painting.

Pleasantly surprised!
I've never used acrylic paint pens. So I was very pleased when I found out they exist. I had to buy a set and this is it. I like it alot. I can tell i will be using these a lot. They are super lightweight. Good color. Very easy to use, very beautiful strokes and their performance is fantastic for what I need them for. (Basically painting without having to use a paint brush or wet cups of paint and water) make sure to use thick paper and don't hover in a spot too long, it may bleed, but if you stay consistent with your movement, I show in one picture the results on the back of the computer paper a used. Way better than alcohol markers.

Weird color caps
It is nearly impossible to determine color by the cap color. The colors are not standard and some of the markers have a strange metallic sheen. I wanted straight ROY G BIV so I could layer a bit. These are not that.

No smudging!
This was perfect for my deck of cards to write on for my husband about 52 reasons why I love him! Not ONE smudge and they stayed on!

Consigliati!

I am delighted with these pens I thought they were going to be the acrylic type that you have to shake and pump, but these pens work straight out of the box. The way the paint lays down is very bright solid opaque but not thick and streaky the brush tip I think has a lot to do with this. You can get a very wide range of thin to thickenss in just one swipe so lettering is easy even if, like me your not good at calligraphy. All the metallic colours are beautiful and bright, and the basics blend well if you don't wait too long between applications. All in all I love the pens. The box is great looking keep on work space and would make a lovely gift. I will certainly be buying again, hopefully a larger set.

I bought the sixteen pack, which came with eight opaque colours and eight metallics. The opaiques are beautifully vibrant and saturated. On a white background they have great coverage and look beautiful. The metallics have a beautiful sheen and irridescence to them. Lots of reflectivity without looking "glittery". The brush tips are okay, a little overly firm for what I would like but I'm not an expert. The tips are still very flexible and give you a lot of control. Also special mention to the design and quality of the packaging. This feel like an ultra premium set of markers and would make for a fantastic gift.
