I was so excited to receive my Wildflower Art Studio calligraphy kit and it exceeded my expectations. As a busy mom I didn't have time to research the best materials to begin this hobby and I am so thankful that Wildflower Art Studio had done all of the hard work for me! I feel like with calligraphy or hand lettering the quality of the materials really makes a difference when you are learning a new skill. Everything in the kit is top notch! I also loved that they included simple instructions and lots of different practice surfaces. I cannot wait to purchase other kits from this company.

I have always been a brush or iPad calligrapher, but this kit has changed the game! I thought ink calligraphy would be difficult, but it is pretty easy! (And I’m a lefty). All the materials are very high quality, the instruction guide is good, and the presentation was beautiful! Wildflower even included a personalized name tag! Wildflower Art Studio includes free customization on all orders placed directly through their website. If you order from Amazon, you can just email them and they will send you the calligraphed name card for free. Highly recommend this kit for anyone who wants to get into ink calligraphy.

I'm getting into more artistic hobbies since being stuck at home and this set was the perfect kit to begin my journey with calligraphy. I've heard that the oblique pen is the best one to start out with and after using it I would agree. My only complaint is that the paper it comes with is not the best - a great addition, just not super effective with dip pens as the ink will bleed on the watercolor paper. Overall, I love it!

Love this entire set. I’m a beginner and it has instructions, trace paper, mini project suggestions and best of all ..actual instructions. The packaging is really cute as well. I ordered it as a gift to myself to do in my free time when I’m just relaxing. It’s really helped improve my regular handwriting as well and is just over all fun. I would highly recommend this product for folks wanting to try out calligraphy it’s affordable and you get everything you could possibly need if your just starting.

This product is actually really great for beginners in calligraphy. It's comes with everything the description says and although it might seem like a lot of products, it's actually not. What I'm saying is that you're paying too much for getting too little products or really products that you actually don't need. They should include more nibs especially. Literally, you can buy an oblique pen that comes with multiple nibs and buy a bottled inked for much greater price. The graph paper and the vellum paper is not necessary at all and it's small too. Overall, the product is good but a smarter investment would get you more products and more opportunities to write calligraphy.

This kit is the perfect kit for beginner's to grasp the art of calligraphy. As with other kits offered by Wildflower Art Studios, it's packaging is cute and giftable. I have been looking forward to using calligraphy more, however my experience is limited to a class I took over 10 years ago. This kit is perfect for getting back in the groove of this style of writing. This was purchased as a gift for someone who is really into art and looking to get into calligraphy. I couldn’t have thought of a better gift than this! Upon receiving it, I honestly wanted to keep it myself. It is very nice and perfect for people just getting into calligraphy as well as an added instrument for a collection. It comes with helpful instructions and even tracing guides. Calligraphy can be very challenging and this kit offers the simplicity it needs. Excellent gift idea!

I'm totally new to calligraphy, so I can't say if this is the best kit or be nit-picky about it. All I can say is, I was able to start writing immediately, and the little booklet with beginner's instructions got me going. So, it worked well enough, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! There's plenty of ink, the pen is comfortable to hold and seems to write well (with my limited skill). The packaging was also cute, although all the crinkle paper was a little excessive.Only drawback: It was difficult to write on the "trace" paper, as it kept moving when I tried to hold it over the letters to trace. It would be nice if these practice sheets were bound, so that they would stay in place. Then, card with the letters could be easily slipped in between sheets for tracing. I happened to have a solid notebook of plain white paper, and I found it much easier to write in that notebook than on the trace sheets.All in all-- would recommend to beginners!
