For people like me only speaking for myself I needed someone to help me, but if you are an expert, this definitely lightens the hair and for me it worked on dyed hair, and my hair was either black brown died, and it did lift the color to a bronze which later made me add a red to it since I wanted to be a redhead but again I needed help and aluminum foil but if you don’t know that already this is just advice but the product most definitely does the job and works and lifts color.

I purchased this Manic Panic Flash Lightning bleach kit for my wife, and she’s been very happy with how it performed. Easy to use. Worked fast

It really sucked the color out of my hair in no time. A bit of warning for anyone new to bleaching. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! (as though you needed reminding *laughs*) In all seriousness though, if you keep it on too long or decide in a few months to rebleach the color out of your hair, there is a distinct possibility of your hair turning into pudding with so many applications. Being a newb myself, I ended up getting bored with my purple streaks within a month's time and ended up rebleaching. Some of my hair turned into a mixture of pudding and straw. Luckily, my hair was salvageable by using other products to help it recoup. If you find yourself in a similar situation where you have bleached your hair into a massive pile of almost a goopy nature, I can advise you in some fashion (although, I am no pro) I ended up cutting off the goopy parts and then using a protein spray from Sally's Beauty Supply. This particular spray was a leave-in treatment that had placenta...yes, you heard me, Pla-freaking-centa. Gross, right? But after about two or three weeks, my hair was very nearly back to normal. With all the chemical treatments with dyes and bleaching I didn't want to use any ordinary hair care product and use MORE chemicals (stay away from anything with dimethicone in it, it'll only give you temporary smoothing results until it dries your hair out even MORE-this I learned from a hair care professional) so I ended up slathering coconut oil on my hair about once or twice a week for added moisturizing. It helped a great deal. Although my damaged hair isn't perfect, it's also not breaking, or stretchy goo anymore either. Either way, be mindful of how long you leave this bleach in and also mindful of how often you do it. Its pretty powerful and its nice not having to sit around and wait forever and a day for the bleach to work. I'd use this product again, just not as often. HAPPY BLEACHING!!

I have been wanting to bleach and dye my hair again for a while now and am finally able to again. Great product and came right on time.

** UPDATE with more pictures: This stuff is the most even bleaching flash lightener ive ever used and was VERY consistent with each section. Keeping in mind, i deliberately didn't want to go all the way to my scalp just yet (for future bleaching and fading reasons) AND i did it in very random sections for a better blend up where my roots are as well as having different levels of lightening throughout and every piece lightened evenly with piece bleached at the same time. i bought two but one was enough for half of my head which i thought id need two for due to the length. Granted, i DO have an undercut so the back of my head is shaved but there was even just enough left in the tub to cover the half of it that i would've bleached if it was still there and not only is my hair long in general, but its long even on me as someone who's about 5'10-5'11. i have a lot of hair needless to say, and its EXTREMELY dark (and virgin aside from the very ends on a couple pieces that were bleached and dyed teal 2 years ago almost exactly. Which brings me to my next point...it says 5 levels and literally lightened my hair precisely 5 levels. im just really impressed with the reliability this product turned out to have. I'm glad i chose it. Even the value is awesome because i usually need a ridiculous amount of ANY product for my hair (i used TWO splat bleachings for just my ends two years ago which wasn't even my plan-i wanted to do what im doing now) but now i already have the bleach i need for the next lift after a little repair time goes by. I'm going for a rich eggplanty-blue violet that isn't too dark in low light but with the natural color of my hair, its a process i planned for. I want the color but i also want to keep the integrity of my long hair in tact. Even the ends with previous bleaching had very minimal damage. Its still got a great amount of elasticity and it soft and smooth. I bought All Plex too but I've decided to save it for the second bleaching i'll do n the near future so the only thing ive put on my hair other than the bleach and then shampoo to wash it out, was a VERY small amount of some Husk Coconut oil that i already had and it did great just with that. The ONLY preventative measures of protection I used was not washing my hair for quite awhile...QUITE a while lol...its not the MOST attractive thing but no one can tell if you wear your hair up (all or partially, in any style) and maybe a little dry shampoo for roots when its not all up. But your natural oils can do a whole lot more than any man made product and I wanted the healthiest result. NOTE: i did all of this on a strand test before doing the exact same thing to the rest to be sure of how it would turn out-especially with a product i'm unfamiliar with. so whatever you do for YOUR hair, do a strand test first for ANY product or even any technique that you are new to. **You cant have pretty colorful hair if you fry it all off..regret not leaving it in long enough or regret leaving it in too long. One of those is MUCH easier to correct and deal with** I left mine on for 35min from the time i finished, not from the time i started. I tried to take the pictures in different lighting because the sun wasn't really showing much on the strand test and it was dark by the time it was all finished and dried. My bathroom light is kinda yellow and my bathroom is really small AND the walls are painted a very pale yellow lol so i tried to getting different angles but it doesn't really effect the real life color too much. This is enough for me at this stage of my current color journey. -Initial review: I JUST received my package of two bleaching kits so for now I'm rating it 5 stars overall just based on packaging/delivery and amount of product for price. I plan on using them this week, as soon as i get the first opportunity, so i'll update then.

Best bleach I’ve ever used

Premetto che ho preso per errore il decolorante più forte della serie mentre a me interessava solo schiarire di qualche tono per fare poi un color rame che prendesse bene anche nella ricrescita. Funziona benissimo, anche troppo, e per ora non mi sembra che i miei capelli si siano rovinati. Io l'ho lasciato in posa solo dieci minuti sperando schiarisse poco, invece è uscito un giallo uovo incredibile 😂

No me gustó, venía con el producto derramado, y yo no tenía guantes de protección (como iba a saberlo) y ahora tengo mi mano irritada

Ich hatte mir sehr viele Gedanken gemacht, ob ich meine Haare wirklich selbst zuhause bleichen will, besonders, da mich - ironischerweise - Bleach Fail Videos dazu inspiriert haben. Meine Haare sind dunkelbraun (Level 3) und sehr fein. Mit dem Kit habe ich meine Haare nach Packungsanweisung behandelt und ein helles Orange 🍊 herausbekommen, das ich dann mit grün und ein paar Wochen später mit rot einfärben konnte. Da knallige Farben mein Ziel waren, hat das vollkommen gereicht. Meine Haare sind weder ausgefallen noch kaputt gegangen. An das Ziel "helles Blond" hätte ich mich damit allerdings nicht gewagt.

I was originally not happy, the item was late and it was blamed on bed weather. There was no bad weather. However, it came a day late as the product itself it great. Don’t lie to customers. If I had been told something believable I would have been fine with waiting an extra day.

This is the second time I'm buying it. First time I was scared of the lbeach stripping my hair so I left it on for 45 minutes and it came out brown. Second time I left it on for 1 hour and it became yellow blonde. Can't believe it managed to completely strip off the black color of my hair and lightened it to level 9. Never thought it would be possible with just one round of bleaching. Didn't cause hair damage as well. Hair was just a little bit dry after shampoo but when I condition it goes back to being smooth and silky. Absolutely in love with the product couldn't ask for more. I didn't do the strand test but would recommend you to do it just in case. Make sure to not have it on your hair longer than the recommended time. Everyone's hair is different but it worked amazingly on my straight hair.
