Good at $50
After ~400 rounds from my XDME 10mm, it's holding zero and I'm enjoying it. The glass is fairly low quality, and I'll probably scratch it up through cleaning over time. The dot itself is great, I've spent far more and returned similar sights that had steaks in the dot. If you have $50 and medium-low expectations, this is a great value.

A great “bang” for the buck
Judge for yourself. I read many negatives about this rd and I really thought this was a mistake purchase. I sighted this in with my laser training cartridge (which I also got on Amazon a few years ago.). I took it to the range and worked flawlessly. I did loctite blue the this sight but I really thought that was common sense until I read some of the reviews stating the sight came loose and some who stated the lens came apart. Maybe I’m wrong but I’m guessing the sight was not on the firearm securely. This red dot was secured to my XD mod 3 and I was impressed. It is very durable and the optics are very clear. The dot is very adequate and I think it’s a great bang for your buck…pun intended. The XD’s next shooting rotation won’t be until June. If it fails, I will update my review but based on my range experience, I think I’ll get many years out of this red dot.

Two duds in a row!
After reading mixed reviews online I decided to give this red dot a try anyway. It was one of the cheaper options using the DPP / shield rms footprint and I thought would be a good entry level red dot seeing how it's from a major company. There were other options available that were less expensive but all those were from non-name brand manufacturers (except one).I received two different units with two different problems. One dot was obviously an open box return and a little scratched. I would not have minded if I paid for a used item, but I did not, I paid for a new item. There was also some glue near the glass. The box on this unit was re-taped from factory or so it seemed. The second unit I received APPEARED not to power on... Until I realized that the real problem was that it would not mechanically zero for windage. The glass on this unit was clear of glue though. Both units are not sealed against dust or water intrusion. They claim ipx7 rating and I'm not sure how that's possible when there's a gaping hole you can see the wires through. The hole is between and aft of the mounting screws. What really irks me is that Tasco makes a NEAR identical red dot under license (making an assumption) for half the price. If I had known I'd have this much trouble I don't know if I'd have gone with the Bushnell. There are other options that are about $30 more.I ended up sending back the second unit the day after receiving it. Haven't returned the first used unit yet, trying to decide if it's worth fighting 'the man'. My feeling is that they make things so difficult for consumers that we just give up.I really wanted to give their RXS250 a try, it was just more than I could justify at the moment. Now I'm stuck with the used RXS100 and am kinda soured towards Bushnell even though I had good experience with their trs-25.TLDR; spend a bit more and get something else.

Unfortunately quite thiccc
I’ll start with the cons first. The base of it is quite thiccc compared to my holosun, so therefore when it’s installed on a dovetail plate on my tx22, it’s not very instinctual to draw and have the dot on target due to how high off the bore axis it is.That said, since it’s on a .22, it still functions great, the dot is clear, still holds zero after 200rds. I was hitting bullseyes at 15 yards with no adjustments necessary which was impressive as it’s on a dovetail mount that I had to modify to fit the optic.Overall it’s good FOR THE PRICE. Just remember that this is only a $90 optic, not a $300+ optic.PS I appreciate the side door battery tray like my holosun. You should never have to remove an optic just to swap batteries and that’s one thing this bushnell has done well by.Update 1/8/23 I’ve used this extensively at this point, and though it mechanically has been flawless, I can’t get myself to accept the small sight window and how high the dot appears. You almost have to point downward in order to see it. It’s always been that way and I can’t get over it. Maybe on a riser it’d be ok, but on a pistol close to the bore axis. No Bueno.

Nice looking red dot
This is a nice well-built red dot reflex sight. The battery slides in from the side so it's easy to replace and is a easy to find 2032. I mounted this on a colt 45 rifle with picatinny rail which is a no brainier easy to do. I bore sighted before going to range. I center adjusted at 15 yards the elevation was close so moved to 25 to zero in just couple shots. Then at 50 yards just a minor tweaking. I shot 50 rounds, and it stayed pinpoint accurate. I have been out several more times and this rifle has stayed in adjustment I haven't had to make any adjustments. The red dot has stayed nice and bright easy to pick up, it does wash out a bit if the early morning sun is coming at you but is still visible!
